need a custom WOKguard, be overlength.
reason being I need it for my “Osprey” 9mm
be a bit different than you guys are used to
looking at a remote line for bench, a stainless in stock pressure tube for a max of two or three shots in field at 150 FPE
will be using the full length Troy free float hand guard on the build, {even you wont be able to bitch that this isn’t a free float when done}
pic gives you a rough idea of layout with the short guard
what say you? This brings AF custom builds to a bit different level don’t you think?

No real way to do a DIY kit
Have been considering offering up custom frames however they would vary a great deal from the AF article while accepting AF bits
this project is pretty much proof of concept

LOL…yeah thought might turn a few heads
as you can see I have most of the specialized bits left over from when I used to do high end AR builds. Whole shebang should mount up to a highly modified AF frame with out a great deal of specialized work. Probably have another 9mm barrel turned from heavy 1.25 inch blank stock with an integral extra long bushing held by an AR styly barrel nut. Thinking on having the front of the bushing extending thru the barrel nut and then threaded to take a slightly larger ID version of TD’s bolt thrower insert then using even larger diameter tubing and custom inserts to fab up bolts. Idea being the same build can run either bolts or bullets with no switching out bits other than to unscrew the moderator
Have the guys lined up that will be doing the metal work so why not?

that Troy guard is well over two hundred bones, the sights another couple hundred odd bux
by the time everything is said and done there will be roughly a grand or more into this one
still, there will be nothing else like it out there in the Airgun world me thinks 😉
