Edgun Short Matador
I have sold my standard Matador and asked Tony to order a short Matador for me.
My neighbors are difficult people. They saw me with the standard Matador, but couldn’t figure out what it was. When I shoot from my deck, they can’t see me, nor could they hear it.
After my vision cleared enough and I shot the limb with bagworms off my tree, I realized there was true potential to bring more grief into their lives.
It was soon raining walnuts and hickory nuts from their trees onto their yard. LOTS of walnuts and hickory nuts. Howard, my neighbor, asked me if I had ever heard of walnuts and hickory nuts “exploding” and dropping off trees when temperatures were 100 degrees and over.
I allowed that the nuts were possibly building up “steam” inside and exploding! Howard said it was “…the strangest thing he had ever heard of!”. But he had no other explanation.
I have shot ALL the hickory nuts and walnuts off their trees and I then realized this was the time to make my move and get the short Matador that I originally wanted. I just like the size.
The only person I know of that has a short Matador is in the UK and he spoke very highly of it. I determined this was the time to order what I really wanted…a Short Matador.
I’ll post pictures and results when it arrives.

Hoot, you’ve amazed me with your info on the coastal region demographic area with the vietnamese american fisherman. Fortunately, there are additional levels of the community residing throughout the states. Let me know should you’d like to expand on your knowledge. 😆
Now, back to the short Matador, there are probably others with the short version in the US. You’ve made a wise choice as it has all the shooting characteristics of the standard version while still having a good consistent, shot count in such a compact size. I’m sure you will be more than happy with it as I am. :thumb:

“Kha Du”? Might he around Galveston or Corpus Christi? Lots of shrimpers down the Gulf coast came over in the 70’s after Saigon fell.
Can’t fault his taste in Edguns. That “Shorty” is going to be
interesting.

My neighbors are difficult people too, at 1 time 1 of my neighbors could not located her cat, she think I shot it 😆 . She came by and asked if I did, I did not know what to tell her, I simply replied “NO”, and few minutes later her cat (s) returned from somewhere 😆
Hoot, Kha Du from Texas has a short Matador. He may chime in soon. he posted about it a while back.
I think I would like to live next door to the hoot on here…instead of the hoot I actually live next to now. He is a very old, deaf man and he likes to mow his lawn at 0700 on the weekend 👿 if I try to do that to wake him up, it’s not effective, because he just takes out his hearing aids to sleep. He also sprayed grass killer in my yard, about 3 feet past the fence so it wouldn’t grow onto his property! The guy is a real prick but there’s nothing I can do to him 🙁 his back yard is dirt… Oh well, our TAG hoot is cool!
The Shorty would make a good under the seat truck gun. What mischief could a guy get into with such equipment. What I would have given to be at Chelsea’s wedding today, at less than 250 meters when the doves were released after the ceremony. flap flap plop plop….awkward silence….
I’m not shooting the neighbor chickens until Fall. The Shorty should be in around then, and that’s when the birds come wandering into the gates of hell.

No Shorties in stock. Tony will order one and then it is up to the major and minor gods of Supply and Demand.

Short about the compact version: 50 consistent shots, 10 fps from the first shot to the last one, 35-38 shots with 2-4 fps difference between the shots.
