Not Really sure why the HB was first sold (pre orders) for the same price they are now. Except Now they are not semi Autos . To me the semi auto would cost more and therefore warrant the Higher Price.
So when they Degraded the Gun and decided to sell it as a Manual the price should of been adjusted accordingly thats just my :2cents:
What was the HB when it first made its Debut was a lot better looking ….
Guess the market will decide the fate of the HB . 6 months from now another gun will be in the spotlight (maybe the VULCAN) and you’ll be able to pick up a used HB for under a 1k$ …..
The cricket compact was a sweet rig… Just wish they did something bought the stock. it didn’t really fit me the buttpad rode high and would jab me in the shoulder.
and it only weighed 5.5 lbs with the skeleton stock. Hopefully the HB addressed that and it shoulders nice
Not Knocking the HB …. I think it would be a Fun Gun to shoot. And i know the Kalibrigun can make an accurate gun….
And don’t realize there’s another reasons—-> pellet stability / increase accuracy
1. Reduce air turbulence in the baffles by reducing the pressure in the shroud.
2. Inline venting—reduce the pressure in the shroud sooner —- a cascading vent.
3. Yes I does reduce the vacuum at the exit point—so it would be quieter if standing further away.
If you tried a lot of different Mods/LDC on one AG they all have a different POI due to different baffle designed and through hole size. Before I vent I test the flight and see how stable the pellet is, this HB has minor wobble so I vented –>now none.

I didn’t check speed after venting, I wasn’t looking for speed increase. but my average speed went up 8fpe now after shooting 2 tins (1K+)

shooting 15.9G around 930 fps and that’s her favorite pellet, hate to post groups they my think I made it up. But I can tell you mine is vary accurate–I’m happy when I shoot 8 shot group at 55y shooting on top of a 11 floor building—has concert walls so I can see the white spots the pellets makes — after 8 shots it made a large white spot the size of a quarter I mean all 8 shots was touching together—I’m happy ➡ 
Come on Dave, HB is a totally new unique style from the ground up not just 2 AG put together and call it your own. make a complete Bull pub of your own designed then be proud and call it your own and post the photo–will see how much money you save.

Kalibrgun could not make the semi-auto as reliable as it would like. Instead, it released this version of a bullpup based on the semi-auto. Some like it some don’t. Each finds his own way with this one.

Well i can say im truly glad i read this ile save myself 1k and build a rapid-70 bullpup out my s400. Whats going on in the bullpup market seems they want to cut production costs and rise prices across the board of all top end pcps if im going to get beech ile pay for beech and pay 300 quid from spain fr a rapid-70 self build bullpup another very dissapointed kalibrgun owner past tence think both edgun and kalibrgun both want to have a serious shake up and get this sorted out cutting costs is unnaceptable on such high end pcps atvb dave g

first and foremost, I haven’t shot, handled, not even seen a Colibri in real, so this is the first time I will comment on something I haven’t seen personally.
The only thing that disappoints me really of the Colibri is that Kalibrgun has chosen to sell them for the full price instead of giving a discount for reduced specifications.
Those ones wanting a real semi-auto should have cancelled their orders and those ones accepting bolt action loading should have given a discount in order to have a “fair deal”.
This said actually I’m happy we have a new player in the field, just please remember it’s a completely new player, playing in a well known team but it’s a completely new player with his fair amount of imperfections to be addressed and experience to be made.
I don’t want to enter the “front or rear bolt” fastest shooting competition, the only thing I want to say is that since ED came out with his multishot version (R3M) I’m absolutely sure that you can shot a single shot airgun much faster and more accurate than a multishot.
Personally the only concern that could put me off is the trigger department, if it doesn’t perform like it should it will be a NO GO, the same NO GO I still have concerning Edguns.
Ernest and all the new owners will certainly provide us with more “REAL LIFE” experiences that will give us a clear picture and review of this new player 😀 .

In the past the single shot bolt action was the rave. Many air gunning enthusiast preferred it and still do and made clams of it being better, in what ? Now, most air gunner prefers the multi-shot repeater with its easy, lazy to load repeater with little to no ill effects on accuracy. Now here come a new and under rated true semi-auto subject and here we go again. If we like to see Air guns continue to set new boundaries we need to foresee the future and let it branch out in its many mystical directions, good or bad.

Maybe the last girl on the floor is really a gem deep down inside. Beautiful girls can usually get by on their looks, at least to some degree, and their flaws are more easily overlooked. Ernest says the Colibri internals are improves over the Cricket, as in more substantial, I assume (I know, I know!). Somehow I don’t think the semi failed to appear because of the plastic trigger thing. Were that the issue a simple fix would have been something more durable. Maybe the plastic thing never got to be tested to it’s fail rate because some part of the semi kept failing at a much faster rate? Now I hare there are two different types of the HB in the country?? I’m confused, but I will press on with my acquisition because I’m hopeful the HB will satisfy my particular itch. I’ve sold off most of my collection over the past year. I have one 12 fpe pcp (a Parker Hale Phoenix; in pieces), and a Cometa Indian pistol. I’m hoping (banking?) on the HB to be ALL THAT for me in particular. I won’t miss the semi-auto. That extra feature would be wasted on me, and I suspect most would revery yo single-shot anyway. Heck, I see guys are still buying single-shot trays for multi-shot PCPs used in competition (not that I subscribe to the accuracy advantage of a single-shot air rifle anymore).
Wingman, you express your disappointment very well. Makes me sorry the HB didn’t meet your expectations in so many areas as you describe. Perhaps if it had, and was a successful semi-automatic and I still bought one, I’d probably only shoot it as a semi only on my birthday anyway as it would seem to me to an impractical and wasted feature. Think of it as having a car that can do 200 mph, but you live 800 miles from the nearest track where you can take it and wring it out to it’s fullest. Even when you can, it gets expensive. That’s just my opinion.

I agree totally, The Kalibrgun WST stock (skeleton) was the best looking bullpup stock of all the manufactures out there and its discontinuation is a sad loss to the bullpup world..
You Sir are a bigger man than me if you can live with the cosmetics on that “last girl standing” but I guess even ugly chicks need to get laid.. 😆
Please dont get me wrong, my words were not a review just a few observations and my opinion on what this bullpup has become.. I would have to get one in my hands to tell you what I really thought of it. Cosmetically alone I now find it as attractive as the last girl on the dance floor at the bars closing time. 😯
Im gutted this mass produced export PCP no longer resembles the true Russian Colbri yet the price still reflects that of a quality bullpup.

You ‘re so right about the last gal on the dancing floor. I originally wanted a .22 cricket for being a quiet rifle in skeleton stock for being light weight. But none of the skeleton stock is available anymore. Gave TGAG a call, and landed me a colibri that is lightweight and even quieter. Even though skeleton cricket is prob one of the most handsome stock in my opinion, I can deal with the look of colibri.

Even though I have edguns and crickets its not as fast to aim then the colibri, with them you always take your eye off the target or remove your trigger finger when cocking. how many rounds have you shoot the colibri???? to determine that you can shoot faster with a rear cocker????

You may have taken my tone wrong my friend, Im not at all offended by your post I just think it is intentionally miss-leading to how fast the Colibri could actually be shot “accurately” in the real world. To me this is just smoke and mirrors to bury the fact that this gun should never have been released until it was the semi auto it was designed as.
I have no doubts at all these things will shoot well with the right guy on the trigger, as the quality of PCP barrels available these days like the CZ this one sports and the refined regulators companies like Kalibrgun make you would seriously have to mess something up for one to not shoot well.
I stand by what I said, the rear cocking bullpups can shoot just as fast if you were actually trying for the best group regardless of having to take you trigger hand off the grip to cock it or not. Getting steady and breathing right is what takes the time , not the cocking process.
I have not had the pleasure of handling a Colibri as yet but shoot plenty of my non bullpup pcps with forward cocking levers and can say that the Matador is just as fast on the bench when shooting for accuracy.
My school of thought for hunting doesn’t stray from my school of thought for target shooting, one well placed shot is always better than two or three consecutive rushed shots with a big possibility of missing vitals.

Santa did make the Colibri I was dreaming about but his pointy eared productionising little elves fuxed it up before he could slip a good one down my chimney.
Keep up the good work bud, my only advise it to contact Kalibrgun themselves with the issues you do find and have them fixed at the factory before they are exported. If the company has any care of continuing good product improvement with justifiable mods they will have all ears open.
Oh and for the record, I would prefer this gun as it is, a single shot repeater.. I have no interest in a semi auto air gun,and dont see any justifiable use for one.
Should it have been released in the earlier design and semi auto I would have bought one in a second! However, I would have disconnected the semi auto feature and used it as a bolt action.
I mean no disrespect or dont want to put any one off buying this gun if they want one.. it is just my opinion.
Like I said, I hate to agree with Villdo Baggens at the best of time but you need to point out all the bad stuff in this review as well for it to be amended by customer or the manufacturer.
Reviews that are nothing but gold leave an image in my head of a used car salesman with an open Hawaiian shirt and a big gold chain on his hairy lying chest yelling “Have I got a deal for you!”
Please dont say there’s nothing bad about this gun to report as I have pointed out a few floors already just from photos, I can see loads more that is not flash at all but most is personal opinion and not important to operation so I chose not to point that out.
So do us all a favour and tell us what you see, dont make me buy something I dont want just to get a closer look at it..

Incredible that the 15.9 pellet is more accurate (at that speed) than the 18 grain pellet, at the ranges you’re shooting. I know you mean an increase of 8 fps. Interesting about the reduction of turbulence in the shroud with the extra vent holes improving accuracy. Thanks for the update.
