1st Benchrest meet.
Well Folks… The question has been answered… Yes a Condor can be a competitive Benchrest gun. Took 2nd place at today’s shoot. Lost by one point to a .25 Cricket. 3rd place was a AA510s, 4th was a MaC 1 hunter.
special thanks to MadDogriflestocks, TalonTunes ,RLAirgunsupply and JDSairman.

Man yall some shooting mofo’s! nice jobs.
Hello…
As soon as it was possible I will do some pictures for you to see my setup.
Now, I find it very strange .. you with this stock, regulator and etc. to the average of 230 points .. sorry .. but it is very low … .. As I said already managed to score 246 point .. see attached target ..

In our club and shot the scoring average is 240-247.
I do not know why, but my score dropped too, am analyzing what may have happened … but .. I reaffirm my previous score (when the weapon was new) without any modification was 234 up !!!
Best regards!
Damn nice shootin! :8:
ive kept the speed down because of the pellet will dance on me, and for better shot count, shes reg at 1800psi.
love to see y0ur setup pics, Tony at TalonTunes, tuned the rifle, he touched the barrel and valve system, lighter hammer, custom inserts for the tophat. The gun is regulated with JDS reg. Currently Tony is fitting a ST barrel for the condor. She like the 13gr JSB too. i can get about 100 shots on 1000psi of air. Super Sear trigger is very nice addition too, less than 1lb pull. im still constantant 230’s at 25m, little less at 50 yards

That’s what I’m trying to do here in the championships in Brazil …
One question, do you think possible to compete without the aid of the stock MADDOG ?? because here it’s hard for me to get one.
Personally i think the MD stock is a must. The Maddog stock has bedding that solidifies the rifle and absorbs an
lot of the rifles vibration during the hammer/valve impact thus tightest groups. The 3” fore stock makes for great rest relationship too. When i shoot my condor only 2 fingers make contact with rifle. Maddog incorporated a thumb perch for this reason. The stock adds weight as well which is a good thing. So i think its possible to compete, but the MD stock will bring out the best of your rifle.
got it! but as I said I can not ask one of those, I’m considering to build a solid wood.
Although I spoke on a topic that opened (before finding its consideration of benchrest) I say that I made a steel base with mounts bolted to the base where I hold the bottom rail of the weapon, the weapon 6,2kg totaled with hawke scope. And I got better results as well.
I ask, what changes you made in your AF to get the best results? the barrel is the original? I found interesting you say that shoots JSB 16grs or 18 to 800fps, I’ve been using speeds of 935fps, am I too fast?
Which was the highest score you’ve ever done with your condor? I already did 245 and I have kept the media 240.
Best regards
Awesome shooting!
Congratulations
Cheers
Chris
Very Nice shooting!
I’d like to get a .177 Condor going about 600fps and give a shot a benchrest.

Very cool its commitment to paricipar BR tournaments with rifle condor.
