1st post: Ordered my Condor today, now with pic
Ordered a Condor in .25cal with tri-rail and foster tank adapter. It should be here on wed via the brown santa.
I’ve been a member for about 8 months, reading and figuring what I want and decided on a RED one, ordered it form R&L Airguns in Colorado City, Colorado. Owner called me about 10 minutes after I place the order to comfirm color and caliber and shipped it this afternoon. WE ended up talking for about 15 minutes ans seem like a great place to do business. Thanks for reading and hope to post more often. GREAT FORUM!!!

The shroud is very thin blued steel with I believe they are delrin baffles. It won’t blow up like the fluted aluminum ones have done but is not too heavy either. They are as nice as the blued barrels on any firearm. They have baffles and end caps on the shrouds for every caliber I believe. You only need one shroud and can adapt it for other calibers/guns. Pretty smart. At $110 it is very competitively priced I think. Should make the competitioin stop and think. I am glad I found R&L and Randy.
I don’t have a decibel meter but the shrouds work very well – even at full power. Quieter than any spring gun and as I said like my Marauder. THe neighbors should be happy. Randy set my Condor up very reasonably and that is a change from some of the current offerings out there. I may still add a few novelties to it (I like a gauge on the tank), etc but R&L is a very good place to start.
I forgot to add the shrouds use a threaded backet that fits on the barrel ay the receiver such that the shroud screws in like a normal silencer – no set screws to lose and easy to switch to other guns. Someone really thought it out.
