1st post: Ordered my Condor today, now with pic

Ordered a Condor in .25cal with tri-rail and foster tank adapter. It should be here on wed via the brown santa.
I’ve been a member for about 8 months, reading and figuring what I want and decided on a RED one, ordered it form R&L Airguns in Colorado City, Colorado. Owner called me about 10 minutes after I place the order to comfirm color and caliber and shipped it this afternoon. WE ended up talking for about 15 minutes ans seem like a great place to do business. Thanks for reading and hope to post more often. GREAT FORUM!!!

Welcome,
The 25 is awesome. I had Tony at Talon Tunes power modify mine and it is a beast. I love the power an accuracy of this rifle. I’m sure you’ll be very happy.

+1 on the Chronograph as soon as you can afford it – get it… you will not be disappointed. I held off for three years and wish I bought it with my first gun. I have shot the Talon, Marauder, 1377, IZH-46M, and a Ruger MKIII pistol over it… there’s nothing like finding the real velocity of your gun!

WELCOME ! , looks like you have done your homework if you read for that long.

just remember these things don’t just shoot by themselves, you have to help them along and get the gun in the correct tune, just have fun on the road and don’t get frustrated.

I’ll give an example of mine, i took the condor .22 out yesterday evening to try for a 10 shot group, that has beat some of my old 10 shot groups at 50 yards and it was just not happening, erratic behavior , well i dld get 4 to 6 shots touching them , ( dam) out of the group, or just not touching at all,

I was not in the mood for tuning , and the wind was really up, i believe 24 mph and gusting into the 30 mph range . so i just blew it off and shot and didn’t worry about the best groups, and left that for another day 😀

I haven’t tried benching for a while , i was into that for a good long period and got kind of burnt out, and have just been shooting for fun and dong allot of off hand shooting also.

oh and keep good records of what your doing, like your power wheel setting, and such , get a set of feeler gauges, you will need them for the top hat adjustments, a chrony is really a must with the tuning of these things for sure.

Have fun 😀

Cool yu jumped right in with .25 way to go and welcome aboard!

:tag: coaldust,

You’re in for some fun shooting now.

I’m also a lifer with NRA. Nobody is perfect and we hear about it on this forum. At least by joining we’re not just shooting off our mouths. Ah hell, I probably re-opened someone’s old wound again. 😈
