The way EDgun Matadors open the valve the 3MM stem is not necessary. I had never had a bent valve before the 30. Edgun is one of the most efficient guns in the world in terms of Joules/CC
All valve stems should be. The cricket has a 3mm valve stem, even in.177
Im hoping ed makes a metal 3 mil valve as standard in the .30 cal that will also fit the 2nd generation :8:

That is just a point of logistic, totaly this year USA will get 57 Leshiy that a little more then 10 % of the total amount of them produced. But the majority of them still on the way and I do hope they will arrive to you before Christmas. That is normal as the dealers are prudent with the new guns. But in the beginnig of the new year you will have much more of them as the dealers understand now that they are not risking ordering them in a bigger volumes.

Yes and no 🙂 As usual. The reason why I am not going to reveal the new project before I have them ready to be sold quite simple — I have no possibility to make the new models fast, thus when something is anounced and people who wants to get it has no chance to do it, their wish turns to hate in a while 🙂 So I would prefer to give them the model I anounce as soon as I anounce it.
That is impossible to avoid any troubles with the new models whatever resourse you put in it and it doesn’t matter what number of people will tell you their oppinioun about the project. The troubles will come, that is the normal and not only in the PCP area, any things made my human goes that way.
The oppinion of people is so different that if you want to follow them — you will just stay at place, moveless. Any thing being produced will find it’s consumer, and nothing can suit everybody, so there is not need to ask “what you would like to have”.
So I did anouncing before productino and I found all + and – of that, now I want to try another way 🙂

Agreed. For Matador I think Ed has already got plenty of feedback over the past years.

Funny you decided to go with this strategy since I recalled forum members chimed in regarding your Leshiy design and they demanded a manometer and you redesigned it with one. I understand that being a manufacturer and designer you’re proud of your designs. You can’t satisfy everyone but this and other forums are your largest marketing outlets. You get free feedback and marketing. If you release something that’s missing key features after already manufacturing a few hundred guns only to find out you should have pulsed your dedicated followers you just created a big headache. They would then bitch about never buying a first gen Edgun since minor improvements will be on the horizon. Can you imagine releasing a Leshiy without a manometer and having a ton of people bitch about it to no end if you redesigned it 6 months later with a manometer?
Let’s say today there are some minimum standards that every customer expects to find by default on high end guns.
Advertising something that isn’t existing is a disaster from a marketing point of view and giving some clever ideas in advanvce to the competitors isn’t brilliant neither.
In addition as soon as you make an announcement of a new product your current production becomes obsolete and old stock.
Ed could still open a discussion by asking which improvements would you expect on a new project?

I disagree on this.
Normally if you have already bought the product then you tend to justify the cost and the amount spend and you tend also to turn a blind eye to minor issues.
In addition not everybody has the possibility to buy multiple guns meaning that indipendent reviews could help the customer to make up his mind.
Besides the fact that a honest but negative review could make look the reviewer like a hater in the fan boys eyes.

I agree. In the calibers smaller than .30 the valve stem simply breaks because it is made of plastic and the design of a valve stem is not the most fortunate one. However, no bending happens below .30 with a heavy hammer.
