.22 barrel swap in .177 rws model 48 side lever
I was wondering if it would be possible to swap the barrel in a RWS model 48 air rifle.When i bought my RWS model 48 my father also bought one at the same time and in the same caliber.He is wondering if it is possible to change his barrel to .22??

Unfortunately my TSS is my go to gun, the 48 will be one that probably gets handed down.
So the Legend has survived your 48?How many shots (estimate) since you installed the scope?I’m too scared to put any of my scopes on mine for destroying them! 😆

I have an RWS 48 and I love it, I just wish it was in .22 and not .177, I have owned it for so long (20+ yrs) I would have a hard time selling mine. had it tuned earlier this year by John in PA and had the stock refinished by a a buddy of mine who is refinishes high end furniture. to Top it off I put a New Bushnell Legend on it. I mostly just stare at it, there is something about just cranking the handle and shooting, without the worry of an air supply. 🙂

I would have to chrony it, haven’t shot it in 10 years at least 😳 😳

The model 48 i am selling has only 53 shots but those 53 shots were smooth as heck.I could not imagine the model 48 being a scope buster.
My fathers is the same gun as mine and its equally smooth
