When you accidentally posted that family pic, I noticed two adult blond women (pretty dang nice looking too!) And, was wondering if you are Mormon, have an attractive grown daughter that looks like her mom, or simply have two wives…perhaps sisters?…because there were a lot of kids in that picture, and they all looked like you.
Further, for a fat, bald guy, you sure looked awfully happy!!! When I was young, my mother always told me fat people “…can all dance really good, because they are ‘light’ on their feet!” But I’ve never seen you dance, so I can’t comment on that aspect.
What’s your secret? You’re no Rock Hudson, so you must be really rich, or hung like an elk! Tragically, I am neither…

just to recommend the bogman’s comment ,,,here is some pics of my new Edgun pellets .25cal
they are very uniform and undamaged skirts ,,,i couldn’t even found one damaged skirt
Stop worrying and get the .25. If you are going through the trouble for a FAC, you might as well take full advantage of it.
I have 2x .22 cal. rifles and 4 x .25 cal. rifles. The .25 are often more accurate with unsorted pellets and light winds. The skirts are harder to deform in transport/shipping. They “dispatch” rodents more humanely. I checked some .25 groups at 50 yds- about 1/4 inch ctc, with unsorted pellets-accurate enough. If you were working with a non-regulated rifle, one using an air stripper like an air Arms S510 FAC, I’d say go for the .22. The regulators make a big difference. Get the .25 set to 915-920 fps, make sure the barrel is clean, the scope is good and you’ll be very pleased.

Over here in the UK any airgun shooting more than 12 FT pounds requires a Fire Arms licence.
I already own a .177 Edgun Matador. I have had it for a while. I like the .177 cal in sub 12 FT pounds due to it’s flatter trajectory than the .22. It flys faster and flatter. It may not have the same stopping power as the .22 but a head shot up to 50 yards (max) on a rabbit will take it out. I try and keep under 40yards but have taken the out a bit farther. These are not in parr with your long shots.
I have applied for my FAC which will allow me to buy and use a higher powered air gun.
This is why I am unsure on which to go for as it’s all new ground for me.
If the .25 is a flatter trajectory than the .22 why do people choose the .22?

my .22 STD gives me about 70-80 shots at 930 FPS ,,, my Long version is about 110 + Shots at 930 FPS ,,, all the way from 220 bar to 110 bar … and i don’t have .25cal STD,,, but it on the way ,,, and i had .25cal Long,,,now my friend told me he set the gun to 913 FPS and he gets about 70-80 shots …
there is no discussion for Edgun regulators ,,,they are top,,,, but if you take my words ,,,then don’t for for .177 cal… at least go for .22 cal… i could kill doves at 156 mtrs ,,, my longest head shot was at 136 mtrs it was a feral pigeon … and i have 4 witness for this ,,, i was with my friends and i took the range with my “Leica Rangemaster CRF 1600-B” and i used strelok and i put the 137 mtrs in the strelok and took the shot,,, i could hit the head of the pigeon ,,,,
my friend could pick up the Pepsi bottle at 260 mtrs with his .25cal Long ,,,he has a leica rangefinder as well,…. both of us took the range at a top accuracy … this is the truth …
my last words for you…. don’t go for .177 ,,, the .22cal is useful for all target practice, plinking and hunting as well…. the .25cal is especially made for hunting only,,,, due to the reasons we mentioned …

I am in two minds on the size of gun. I am 5.11 and of medium build. I do like the balance of the .177 Edgun standard that I have. So I am not totally convinced that the long is the one to go for. I do have a tank to fill the gun.
How many shots on a average are you getting out of the .25 Satndard?
I was interested in the opinions on the scope magnification that you use. I have a Hawke Airmax 6-24-50 SF which I use and thinking of putting it on the Edgun.

Black-Slippers posted a family picture of a fat, bald guy with a bunch of young kids, and two HOT blonds that were WAY above his caliber!!! He removed the picture and posted some dumb old pictures of several cans of pellets.
Now, Black-Slippers is trying to talk his way out of it by claiming that’s not him! That those two good looking women are not his wives, concubines, sugar-babies, or whatever.
AND…he claims that bald fat guy is his “Mate”. I’ll tell you right now Black-Slippers is NOT a Lesbian!!! It’s a trick to take our minds of the fact that fat bald guys, outside of America, have got a much better deal than us living in Toad Suck, Arkansas, USA. He’s got a sweet deal going and doesn’t want anyone to know about it~~~ We need to demand more pics of the family.
I don’t blame him one bit! The women around here are as wide as they are tall. Most don’t have their own teeth, and smell like sweat. It’s illegal in Arkansas to have sex with a fat girl because the state is sick and tired of spending money on ugly people and their uglier off-spring! Sad but true.
A state Senator introduced a Bill to require ugly, fat girls to feed their off-spring to the pigs at the State Hog Farm Research Facility…sadly it failed to pass. He introduced another bill last week demanding the fat girls be fed to the hogs instead. That bill is being give serious consideration by the Governor!
