Q:

2250 psi fill only

brand new to the forums and had a question about filling my tank.
Bought a talon ss 12″ .22 and loving it. However I cant fill it past 2250psi mark. My scuba tank is rated at 3000. What am I doing wrong?

That’s just the reason I’m filling with the hand pump, then I know for sure the amount of air I’m getting.

LOL!!! wait, what? I dont get it.

You some crazy MF’s! 😀

put the tank in the deep freezer for a week before you go and get it filled, now 3 times a day pull it out and pour cold water over it taking special care to keep all water away from the vale, now you have a frozen tank with a large amount of ice incasing it when you take it down to get it filled watch them and make them fill it as slow as they can to cool and compress that air. when it thaws out you will have a shit load of air, just make sure you don’t leave it out in the sun 😉

Only fill it when it’s raining and the Barometric pressure is low, therefore the tank differential pressure will be higher

Heat the tank up with a torch that will make the pressure go up.

Air is lighter than air, so it floats. Hold the gun above the cylinder.

I thought this was common knowledge?

No, water pressure increases the air pressure in the tank, so only shoot underwater.

Can you get more air out of the tank if you hold it upside down over the gun? 🙄

You cannot charge something straight from your scuba tank to a pressure level that is more than what your scuba tank can provide.

This is not entirely true, there is a technique where you give the dive cylinder a firm squeeze at the critical moment to produce a “spike” in the fill pressure. You may need to use both hands for this.

LMAO !!!! 😆 😆 😆 😆

Funny!!!
And Iam glad it is a happy end

You guys are bad! we are helping each other not crusifying each other. LOL 😆
