2250 psi fill only
brand new to the forums and had a question about filling my tank.
Bought a talon ss 12″ .22 and loving it. However I cant fill it past 2250psi mark. My scuba tank is rated at 3000. What am I doing wrong?

I’m not sure if there are disposable one-time use scuba tanks commercially sold.
From what I know scuba tanks are refillable and they eventually lose pressure after being used for some time.
You cannot charge something straight from your scuba tank to a pressure level that is more than what your scuba tank can provide.
If you want to charge your airgun to 3000 psi(without using a hand pump) you need to have MORE than 3000psi in your scuba tank!

Yes, go ahead and continue to buy a new scuba tank each time yours stops filling to 3000 psi. They are no good. I’ll take your bad ones and make cool stuff out of them for you and send them back for you to sell at profit… in about 15 years. Of course I’ll cover shipping.

sounds like it’s time to fill the scuba tank, if it wont put more than 2250 in to your guns tank then that is all the scuba has in it.
