Q:

25 cal Bobcat, Fobcat, Knobcat, Fuglycat, Knobjob

Check out the internals on a 25 cal Bobcat.

MAN: that is a “cheesy” setup! I mean REALLY?

I could come up with something at least that good at home and I am just an oldgoat with a drill press and vice.

People are signed up and waiting to pay $2200+ for that gun?

WTF am I missing here?

Even with the overweight second revision stock (maybe they will come up with something decent looking and lighter on the 6-7th revision) it is still a fucking ugly air gun!

I was going to post this on the Yellow and see how long it lasted. I knew it wouldn’t last long and I would probably get banned.

NEVERMIND!

Well, i know it´s a good shooter and the trigger is far beyond that of an EdGun. Then again an AK47, used in a field without any cleaning whatsoever has a better trigger. And you´re right about the looks vs. performance too. Who cares how it looks as long it does good.
That isn´t necessarily the criteria you´d choose a girlfriend according though …

However – it´s still a BC, an afterthought using existing Royal parts, and as such it´s soul-less. The “Fugly” remark still standing.
The fact it shoots well bugs me but nevertheless …

Now – want to have something really well shooting ? That doesn´t need any trigger work besides some adjustements for your specs ? Has spare parts readily available ? Doesn´t clip if/when the muffler/barrel isn´t exactly aligned ? Isn´t pellet fuzzy ?? Get a Bug, young man … BTW – Why do you think it says “Sold” in my signature ?? Times twice? It´s not like i didn´t give it a fair change …

It might be ugly, but suck? Nope, i have an edgun and a brand new bobcat waiting in the mail because my friend got one and it shoots like a dream with a trigger to dream of especially compared to any edgun
Still will keep my edgun but as before i expect to be able to shoot really good with the FX and thats without cleaning barrel all the time which i have to do on my edgun

Ps i do not care a bit how it looks, as long as it shoots good…. I previously had a FX Gladiator, that says it all?

Flame away

Doesn´t look right ? ?? What about the BC, as a whole, looks right ?? I´m willing to bet they can draw a better looking gun at the blinds art school.
Let´s say like this – if you really, really tried could you be able to draw a gun looking heavier/clumsier than the BC, Mk 1 ?? I mean REALLY tried.
The #2 looks better and lighter but then again so does a Russian WW2 tank in comparison.

FX guns suck. I like neither the look of them nor the fact they show themselves on the Internet as the most accurate rifles in the World.
Never seen that actually, and at our Club 85% of the members have one of those marvellous rifles. My Ed, and now the Bug, regularly outshoots those ST barreled third wonders of the World while still having more FPE than a BC in the same cal. So – what´s the point ??
– It´s Fugly
– It doesn´t shoot any better
– It´s less powerfull regulated

Did i mention it´s UGLY ???

OOOOH my, that’s one solder joint away from disaster!!!!!!!, Looks so cheap, for sure a throw together. 🙁

LOL. I was thinking exactly the same 10 minutes ago when I was reading that post.

So many extra parts, little tubes conetting things, I don’t know, but it doens’t look right.
