25 cal groups
Seems there is not a lot of talk about the Cricket 25 groups. If there are any out there who own both share 70 yard groups between the two calibers

OK, let’s get barrel polished and cleaned again. Then lets get a nice calm day and some sandbags and give it a go, see what happens. I think you’ll see a tighter grouping with a lapped barrel.

This is what I do to polish
I put it on Cleaning fiberglass rod with crown saver.
Before we start polishing we will assume barrel has been cleaned.
Then i apply J-b Non-Embedding Bore to mop and clean it some more. After its cleaned up i take a new mop and go to next step
Then i work the crap out of barrel with this
You make a mark where the choke begins in barrel and don’t go past that point with the polishing mop
You will need to get a bunch of mope for that job.
That’s my poor mans way of doing it

Zonk that is a very good group but i will rest when i can produce that %80 of the time. That group was done at 908 fps. i couldn’t tell too much of a differance between 890 and 917. (that’s all the adjustment I have)
Another thing i noticed is Chairgun doesn’t match with point of aim I’m getting.
I have it set at 50 yard zero at 13 x zoom. I can crank it to 20 x and hit 70 yard bull with 0.7 mildot. Either crony is nuts or BC is better than its showing in chairgun
So, do observe the AA pellets to be of better quality, better consistency than the regular JSB?
The AA LOOK better as skirts are thicker but i ran out of JSB very early in the test. I would think they are very close as nothing really stood out between them.

That was the best group out of maybe 20. That is the only group I will accept from this gun. Biggest problem is flyers. I will polish barrel later when I get a chance.

.6 at 70 yds is damn good! The only suggestion I would make is you use a squirrel instead of paper.

The best I got out of cricket so far at 70 yards is this. Using Air Arms at 910 fps. Getting too many fliers. Guess its time to start polishing barrel. Groan
Regulator is doing a fantastic job but other groups are not as good. Benjamin domes did good too. Can’t get them up past 870 with reg set up the way it is now.
Simple problem. Just skip every fifth shot 🙂
Coin measures exactly one inch
So FAR mine does a little better at 62 yards. It would group two shots almost on top of each other then move over a 1/4 ” then do it again and the fifth shot seems to be the odd man out somewhere other than the shooters choice :angrymob:
55-60 yard off bipod jsb kings 25.4 grain 4 shots gun untouched from factory no tuning or mods ect dd shoot 3 diffrent targets 4 shots each but this one was best nice still weather here at min the un is shinning seen better groups or closer with 22 of a mates but his pelkets are 1mm smaller

Brother Hemn ask about polish barrel. He has edgun so he should already polished barrel.
I polished my barrel one mount ago. I think it is better.
