.25 Caliber Surefire Slugs
So with the extreme valve I already have and the .25 24″ LW Condor barrel I am getting I want the most accurate power available in the .25 caliber for calling in coyotes. Which Surefire slugs will give me the best accuracy (and i could have shots out to 100 yards but 50-60 is common)?

From reading the other threads the .22 calibers didn’t fair like the .25s do. That is one of the reasons I bought the .25 barrel. There is a shortage of LW .25 barrels right now – especially in AF guns. Demand is very high and many hi-end airguns use the same .25 LW barrel blanks to start with.
Do they make Jerry’s for a 24″ Condor .22 with stock everything? are they accurate to 50 yards?
I have shot squirrels with 6 and 7 ring slugs. One was a frontal shot in the neck and it exited in the rear and very little blood loss. Small vermin don’t have enough mass to distort those slugs. But those squirrels did not even flinch when hit, just instantaneous death.
Well for comparison sake here is my last opossum hit with a 26 gr .25 Predator pellet with Stubby hi-flo at 32 yards (33 fpe at the muzzle). He was about 10 lbs and went about 3 feet and keeled over dead with a heart/lung shot. You can see the entrance wound over the right leg and there was no exit wound. I suspect the Surefire will be a bit more dramatic at near 100 fpe and 62 or so grains.

I’m waiting on the report too. I’ve had plenty of reports regarding accuracy and abuse of inanimate objects but when it comes to hunting reports….well there seems to be more hunters than hunting! 😆 😆 😆

Thanks for the info Jerry. I shot competitive light varmint BR for about 15 years and really never had a gun that started great. They all needed quite a bit of work including changing barrels to get them shooting well. These PCPs are even more finicky but for me the fun is getting them shooting great.
It’s really hard to say which of the slugs is most accurate. I think I’ve seen most of the reports, good and disappointing, and I still don’t know if one of the slugs has it over the others. I’ve seen great groups from the 6 and 7 rings but I’ve seen the 9 ring post one hole groups at 50 out of a powerful gun with a great barrel…
I think that means that all the slugs have the potential to be accurate and the normal variables of gun design, barrels and shooters all apply like they do for other decent rounds.
I told Jerry if the 7s do better I will order some of them too. I would say from all of the reports I saw they were both pretty similar. I saw some 1/2 50 yd groups with the 6’s and 7s.
I think from what I’ve read the 7’s are the most accurate.
I have a few hundred 6 rings coming and hopefully a few 7s to test. You will definitely get some critter impact reports from me.
I am more concerned with accuracy and trajectory than power. Still 7 ring?
I like the 7 rings. I have tried them and the 6 rings.
