.25 Daystate Air Ranger on Order
After much research and nail biting I have a .25 Daystate Air Ranger on order with a Huggett shroud upgrade and yes another Hawke Sidewinder Tactical 6.5-20x. This is a 50 fpe model that does 40 shots. It should arrive Monday or Tuesday.
I also ordered a box of the Daystate solid 36 grain pellets that supposedly shoot well out of a few Condors to try in the Condor.

Here you go – clearer pictures. You can fill these to 3625 psi.
30 is the most I ever did. I have a shoebox compressor and a guppy tank. I top off alot. That day at the range I wanted to see when the pellets dropped at 50 yards. they did not!

Air Ranger arrived! I asked them to pick a dark marbled stock and they sent a real dandy. I’ll post some pictures later. I am almost afraid to touch it like a real expensive shotgun. The Huggett custom shroud looks very cool as well. They sent a test target (one hole) and shot string with JSB Kings. It shoots them at 49 fpe according to their string. Kodiaks would be in the low 50s then.
I have to put the Hawke Tactical back on and gas it up after work.

Nice. I always keep about 12 tins of .25 Predators and JSB Kings in inventory. I probably have a dozen tins of .25 Cudas too. I have a total of 7 .25 pellets to try.
never tried another pellet, have predators was thinking of trying them because I like the way they hit squirrels!
This was 50 yards from a bench with a couple rolled up towels!
Mine like Kodiac extra heavies. I bought 5 or 6 different pellets and went to the range. I shot kodiacs first because I had 6 tins for my AF guns.
30 shots in a dime size group on the bulls eye made me stop trying pellets right there! people shoot nice groups but this group tore the bull right out!

What pellet(s) does it like in the .22?
I have a .22 50fpe air ranger and it outshoots any powder burner I have ( I have a few!) I have put 30 shots thru a dime size hole at 50 yards without refilling! I soooo want the .25!!! dammit! lol

Think hunting power for Air Ranger and Air Wolf for regulated high shot count. The Air Wolf is cool and even has a built in chrony but it is also $400 more than the Ranger.
Are there regulated AR? if not, why not make it regulated in, let’s say, 40fpe range for that price range? Could deliver more shots I guess. But I might be mistaken. Or the valve is so good that reg. in not needed?
Ihave a 50 fpi Ranager in 22 and i love it. You are going to love the 25 she will be a real work horse for ya.
