.25 R3M standard shot string
Made a pellet trap out of a bucket and got some puck lights for Chrony so I decoded to do a shot string. There are still errors and times where I missed the sensor.The lights were under the diffusers on two posts. . Battery may be getting low in Chrony and I probably wasn’t always the same distance away from sensor so its not the most accurate . I will have to do it again making sure I’m a correct distance and have new batteries. I think I will go down to one set of post and try lights shining through the diffuser. Pressure started at 220 down to 110.

Thanks Endo! Was that done in just plain O Microsoft excel or is there a program for us shooters?
I took the liberty to plot your shot string. It is just difficult for me to visualize these numbers. I like “graphic” stuff.

I have had the Gamma Master for about two years and someone gave me a printer for free when they shot their Chrony (with a 50 BMG 😆 ). Everything works great except for the 1st shot not printing on the tape. The value is still in the avgs and calculations so no big deal but I will send it in I guess.
Like everything else – once you figure out the Chrony’s bad habits to avoid it works perfectly for a home user. No Oehler mind you but good enough.
My brand new gamma master is a little funny to run but it will work if I do my part.
I have to have the printer and LCD all plugged in and ready and the ( power on ) on the printer.
Then I have to turn on the LCD box, then hit ST a time or two and forget until it has the right symbal on the screen ang then it will work correctly, Kind of have to fiddle with it to get it set right before the first shot.
It does not do as the manual says and just be ready, right after I turn it on.

They have gotten rich on these things. Normally they fix them for free if it isn’t damaged or shot 😀 meaning something inside broke.
They did tell me to send it in, but didn’t say whether or not it would be replaced fixed for free. It is few years old, I got it soon after joining here and I think that was 09, its been in its box since then.
I just spoke to Shooting Chrony on the printer not printing the first line and they said they are replacing those and just send it in. It sounds like you need to do the same thing. They are cheaply made. I am very glad I got mine for free. 🙂 The Oehler 35p Chrony and printer makes the SC printer look like absolute junk when they are side-by-side. 😥
Here’s another one I did today with the JSB 25.4’s. I put a new battery in the chrony and went down to one post with lights shining through the diffuser. No errors! Fill was a little higher then 220 down to about 110. Like Syn mentioned earlier, printer is junk! Took it out of box for second time and doesn’t work.

Going to try to find out how to do standard deviation and that stuff now.
columns are spaced when I type it, sorry. will be retyping it

Its funny how you can make those graphs look however you want by playing around with the scales (statistics lie 🙂 ). I think that one exaggerates the string too much and make one think there is something wrong at first glance. Just lengthening the bottom scale would improve things. 😎
I use Excel but don’t have it set up very well. If you have a good spreadsheet setup please post a template. 😉
