2nd Edgun R3M Has Landed In Iraq
hello guys,,,
after been trying more than 2.5 months finally this time i could import an Edgun R3M .22cal STD for my friend,
Monday early morning the rifle landed in airport in my X-city … and i was not there ,, my Father-In-Low went and after 3.5 hours could to get it out from the security and custom department and section,,,
i ordered everything for my friend and also some thing for mine,,, like a single shot breech and spare air valve rod,,,and some edgun pellets ,,,
the rifle came in a very good wooden box as usual…
then i loosened the screws and start opening the box and all ,,,first took out pellets ,,,
then the Edgun ,,,wow,,,what is the beautiful walnut stock,, ,,, my uncle Eduard,,, i want the same for my Edgun as well,,, i am happy that my friend will get such a nice stock,,
2 air valve spars ,, nice wrapping ,, Eduard has sent me as a service part and i haven’t paid for these,,, thanks Ed,
a huge o-rings and set screws ,,,i haven’t paid for that as well ,,,, thanks Ed,
i was wondering to know what is inside this envelope????
it was an Edgun T-Shirt gift from Eduard,,, thanks a lot eduard,,, the size is perfect and i am thinking from where you got my size????
2 single shot breeches ,,, very nice and i will try to spot the differences between R3 & R3M …later ,,
7 spare mags ,,, these mags are all aluminum,,,
and the gun has a mag accommodation and it is R3M
and testing started ,,,gun came with 190 bar fill,,,
and i am happy that the stock also has two screws ,,,
my Father-In_low was checking the target results,,
below target is one shot at 48.5 meters and after scope zeroing,,, the gun/barrel is not cleaned ,,,just took out from the box and shot ,,,
i will post more details in next few days,,, i will try to get more details ,,, but i took 50 shots from 205 bars down to 135 bar ,,,the first shot was 910 FPS and the 50th shot was 855 FPS ,,, which is not good for me… i will try to fix the shot consistency by adjusting the HST ,,, and let see what is the result,,, 🙄 🙄

I got the new r3m breech Hemn is talking about and hell yea it’s hard to cock the gun….it feels like grinding metal everytime I cock the gun

Yes… clear 80 mtr as shown in the pic…and if shot in front of my door I have 100 mtrs…that still didn’t try it….

Good post Hemn, I also added a washer inside the stock for the trigger guard. It prevented the barrel from touching the the air tube when tightened.

guys,, today i checked and cleaned the new gun and found some differences,,,here you go,,,
when i checked the new stock screw i found a small defect ,,,
also Ed has added this small washer to the stock screw ,,, which mine doesn’t have this washer … i might add for my gun as well,,,
he also upgraded the HST screw that can be changed by fingers very easily ,,,great job Ed,,,thanks… hope mine was like this,,
still don’t know this regulator has set for 100 bar or what,,, also this part around the brass ring has different views,,
the above breech is mine ,,,the under is the new R3M of my friend….and the plate inside the bolt assy is blued ,,while mine is not blued ,,and only the stainless steel plate ,,,
however mine has more grease and you might not easily spot the differences,,,sorry i had not enough time to remove/ clean parts to show the differences ,,,
and finally cleaned the barrel and cleaned the stock with ballistol spray,,, and the reality/beauty of the stock appeared only now,,,what is the beautiful stock ,,, i am still think of dealing with my friend but ,,what to do,,he is lucky that he ordered a STD one,,,,
here is some small deference in design of the 1st edition of R3M and this new R3M ,,
also ,,,as Edward informed us that some new .22cal mags has a rimering issue ,,,i got two out of 7 mags,,,

Brother Cad and Coda… did you mean those building that not finished yet,,, this is my shooting range ,,, but in late of spring all the land will be full of grass and there is no place for shooting,, that is why i changed my direction,,,

You can’t complain about Iraq (when it’s about importing airguns)
Here only authorized people can import (almost impossible to get this authorization), then takes 9 months to 2 YEARS until you can receive the airgun.
I don’t know how long you waited for it but if it was only 2.5 months you are gold my friend!
By the way…most beautiful Matador stock I’ve ever seen! Congrats to your friend!!

exactly what i was thinking of ,,,but if my Edgun was STD not Long version,,, i already told my friend ,,if my Edgun was a STD version ,,i would take the stock,,hahah 😀 😀
