.30 Cricket at 89 FPE L@@K shot string
Got excited when the 1st # showed 937fps had to look more then once and shake my head, then look at the crony and see if the lights are on and took another shot 935fps WOW at 35″ bullpub with this much power I want to hunt NOW!!!!
More tuning and this is what I got at this speed: (Have more spring tension to get it higher, just to see 100FPE possible with a full mag?)

You could be right. That FX video on the ST is mainly marketing. I may be on the list real soon too but I say enjoy the journey! The wait for us is half the fun anyways dreaming and discussing. I hope JSB/Predator spits out a 30 cal Predator. That’s about all I shoot in my .25 Matador standard. I cannot tell an accuracy difference from the Kings out to 50-60 yards but they are terrific on pests. I tell everyone it is like prairie dog shooting in my own backyard with those beasts.
Here a guy tried to compare a LW and ST on nearly identical FX guns and the LW shot better. Not a real good test.

I think the LW barrel will be a little faster, less metal contact on the pellet–>will see during testing. Being busy tuning AG is great, as long I’m not being rush, I want to enjoy the journey. Now I want other pellet manufacture to make .30 cal pellets. just dome pellets just don’t cut it.

I wonder if the LW fully rifled barrel will have a bit lower velocity than the ST. Of course the LWs are a bit longer. I hate to ask the weight with a bit more diameter. It sounds like polishing the barrel on the 30s might be more critical than the other smaller calibers.
I asked Steve what he thought the current wait would be based on the list and he decided to reach out to the current folks on the list to see if they were still interested given the current feature list and price etc. Ernest – you could be a bit busy for a while. 😯

would you please test LW barrel for lead build up before you polish it. I am very interested in seeing if it will have an issue with build up and loss of accuracy after 40-50 shots. Same as new Edgun Matador that ED is testing. I have a feeling that it will have same issue.
I’m Using The smooth twist barrel that I lead lap and polish to 50,000 grit Diamond past. I put in 4 tins of Fx 46gr pellets while testing/tuning this .30 cal., the only place that has sight lead build up was on the choke. LW barrel is next to be tested within weeks, will do crony and accuracy test prior to lead lap/polish bore and crown, and smooth out the in lead.

I am very interested if the LW barrel that Ernest is using is getting dirty fast too.
The only solution to that is polishing a bore to a mirror finish (and it will bring the cost of the gun up) or using smooth twist barrel (probably hard to get and will cost just as much as LW with custom mirror polish).

I went through every scope brand on SWFA and none have that “Bullet Impact” that is written on the turrets on them. They have Meopta and Firefield

Maybe it´s the Czech optics brand Meopta ?
I inquired about the .35 cal Cricket a few months back but never got real good information.

Oops, sorry, my mistake.
It was a 9mm, .35 CZ barrel.
From what I heared introduction planned late 2013, early 2014.
Does anyone know something about this?

Does anyone have a photo of an push-tru pellet from the Cricket .22 CZ barrel?
I am really curious about the rifling of it.

I didn’t know KalibrGun was going to make a 30 cal. These Crickets are being customized here in the US by TAG/Wild West airgun retailers and they created one prototype with an ST barrel shown in this thread but are switching to the LW barrels.

Ernest – I am on the list and a part of the first 8 group per Steve (he mentioned the LW barrels arrived). I told Steve 30 shots and about 80 FPE for the tune if that is possible with the 44.75 JSBs (I have 8 tins of them). I also asked for the CF NC shroud end caps to be anodized. He said the mags are already anodized. 🙂 I set my triggers pretty light or I can’t shoot decent groups (about 12-14 oz.) Now to start shopping for a scope. I also need to pick up another scope level and a Magpul mount. I got inspired when I saw the coyote Lee in VA dropped with his 30 cal Bobcat with a single heart shot.
