Q:

50yd? Bench rest Condor

Can the condor be competitive at 50yds against Arm Arms, Daystate and other customs?? I join a club/team that shoot competitive bench rest. My Condor likes 50 yards better than 20yards, I think with some more tuning, trigger work and a bench rest stock it would do well.. Looking at Mad Dogs bench rest stocks, I wonder if his stocks would work with Tony’s drop tank adapter????
Here’s my first attemp at 50yards, it’s harder than u think!!

pretty sick Knifemaker, im keeping this one at .22 for match shooting, working on getting a 24” barrel and shroud for accuracy at distance. Doug is moving along great with my stock, Shot Show will delay it a few day thou.

And nothing else gives the options the AF Platform can with the right customize r! :8:

You cant use a TT tank Adapter with the Mad Dog stock, but it isn’t needed with Dougs stocks. They shoulder completely.

And YES!!! The AF paltform is completely transformed with a MD Stock!

Accurate? You tell me! This is three at 80 yards. And it is not unusual at all. 😉

This is a .257 TalonDor. Shooting a NOE Flat Point Bullet cast from 20/1 Lead/Tin

Maddog stock being carved out today

That’s sweet Riff, I’m talking to Tony about a 24″ barrel and some other goodies, talked to Doug at Mad Dog today and he’s building a custom stock for bench rest. Looking at regulators too. I want to get Airforce product into competition bench rest because everyone says it can’t be done…

50 yards is a great range for my old .25 cal. condor. It prefers Benjamin domed.

The barrel is a 24″ I got.from Tony some years ago. I chopped the choke off and recrowned it. Polished the bore with Flitz. Just over 22″ now and shoots great.
I spent a LOT of time tuning this gun. Made my own bushings to get the right fit in the frame. Solid bronze hammer and Tonys 1-piece valvestem with interchangeable inserts. I made an insert larger than the biggest one Tony provided and that seems to work quite well with the Benji pellets. Half-inch or better groups are common.
