Just zip tie that hose to the tank or your strap. Otherwise it can knock your teeth out.
The assembly including hose is the 36″ micro-bore that Brancato offers. I can see how it would be dangerous if the fittings let loose, but it’s already paid for. heh.
hehe i have allways thought the same about those long lines that airhog sells that are no thicker than a bicycle brake line…imagine oe of those 5 feet sucker whip around wit a female QC on the end…AUCH !
personally i use a 4″ hose, steel braided…pretty stiff, so its a bit harder to get guns in the right position to fill but it works good….plus your not wasting precious air when hitting dumping a short hose, those longs ones can actually hold quite a bit of air, which is just a waste
Nice rig. I had the same fill adapter with a similar long whip on it already. I got it from Joe with my 44 cf tank. Good stuff.
However, I realized what would happen if the ‘gun end’ of that hose ever came loose with the valve open. I’ve seen a 80 psi shop air line get loose, it wasn’t pretty. I thought what it would be like to be bent over the rig and rifle when it started thrashing around, if I was lucky enough to get away I sure wouldn’t want to get near it again to shut it down.
I had Tim pull the hose and put a male QD on it, I now use a 6 inch hose with two female QDs to fill guns, and give the main part of the adapter to the shop with the tank to get it filled (they don’t have SCBA fittings, but fill paintball HPA tanks via male QDs).
I’d suggest you might want to rethink that long hose?

$459. Not shown is a 1/4″ BSP QC for the Airforce adapter. … and I still need a hydro and fill.
At least I know the pressures in the SCBA and the the gun I guess. 🙂 I’m going to make up a rack so the thing doesn’t roll off the table also. PVC pipe is cheap and easy. Especially when you already have it.

Well I got mine inspected, hydrotested and filled today for $31.00 total. I paid $200 for the bottle and $15 shipping. Total is $246.00 for a 88CF Carbon Fiber – 4500psi tank…..Not bad.
Now I have a connection to a bottle nut. After I get that I am all set.

I’ve got me one of them there purse handles too. I had it on my steel 80 but it was too heavy to carry around anyway. 😯
No, theres no deep scratches on this one, some surface scraps around the bottom that’s all. I work around SCBAs at my place ( Refinery ) and this one is better than most we use. I have a Safety supply place local that will hydro it for me. I’ll get back on what they end up charging me.
