Q:

A little Metal work

I guess this fits into the Machinest part. 😆 It came up for sale this week. (Not by me 😥 )

Imade this one around 5 years ago, and was the # 2 Big Bear I made.

Wish I got this kind of money for them!

It would feel good for a while. 😆 But with having a little leo experience, (That’s law enforcement officer for you UK guys,) I’ve spent a little time visiting the penitentiaries around the area. It just isn’t worth the vacation time. Here is what you get. Free food-Free board-free sex.All in places you don’t want.

Hopefully one day he will have the pleasure of experiencing it first hand for himself! 😈

With your inside-knowledge you’d be best placed to get away with it.

Scum like that simply need to be eradicated from the gene-pool, for the good of all humanity. They don’t deserve to share oxygen with decent people.

Strange how they’re always hand-in-glove with the state though, ain’t it?

Vile fucking scum, the lot of them.

Nice work as usual knifemaker. Crazy story about your shop!

How much to sharpen my Gerber? 😆

Short version.

A rich fuck in Killeen TX. had been been trying to buy up all the land around us for years. No one would sell. (He’s a crooked piece of shit!)

He learned that a new airport and college was being built near by through inside information. He had his city council buddy talk the city into taking the land. But legally they couldn’t get it done. The City convinced the state to condemn the land, pay a small amount for it, and sell it back to the City, so he could buy it from them. All so he could build a shopping plaza there and sell it. In other words, peoples land was taken that had been in some families for a century, so this rich bastard could make more money.

They originally offered 1000.00 per acre on frontage road land already taxed at over 100,000.00 per acre.

It is supposed to be illegal to use eminent domain for individual profit. In Killeen Tx. Legal means nothing. The citizens rights mean nothing. A very few, getting richer by the day on the backs of the citizens is part and parcel there.

End of Short Story! 👿

So go and shoot the sub-human sack of filth in the face. Any cunt pulled something like that on me he’d be dead, and I’d take the risk of doing life for it. 👿

They did that emminent domain shit here as well. The city of chino hills wanted to build a mall. But where they wanted to put it was the sheriffs station. So what they did was declare emminent domain on a horse ranch 1/2 mile away that people have lived and worked on for generations. Gave them a fraction of what is was worth. They moved the sheriff station to the horse property and then built the mall were the sheriffs were.

Bastards.

Not only in Texas, but in most of the States…I’m afraid 😥

Thanks Guy’s!

Damed State Forced move damed broke us.
Mike

How or why would the state make you move your shop??

Somehow I did miss this..may have been because of the nudity picts in the other post… 😆
That is some sweet looking work…I’d LOVE to be able to finish out something like that..60 hours…wow..I dont have the patience to even began a project like that..I have made a few from some very old 2″ hacksaw blades, milled out the blanks, finished them on a belt sander and crammed them into a old deer antler for a handle.. 😆 about a hour each.. 😆 but hey..they will shave….and hold a edge.. nice work you are truly gifted!

Thank guy! The old industrial hack saw blades were good stuff. Back before they started electron beam welding the high speed steel on to a soft back. Only about a 1/4″ worth of good steel in them now days. Some times less!

I know what you mean about a shaving edge. I hate a gun that won’t shoot or a dull knife that won’t cut! 👿

Thanks Stower. 😀

You are so right Wok. I’m extremely lucky to have the blessing of Bob Loveless and partner Jim Merritt!
Now about that wok Butt—Is it attached to your AA 410? 😉 When every thing gets setteled, I want the Wok-Butt and grip adapter for a Hogue AR-15 grip!

Well I finally have gotten back into the shop. It has been rough not being gainfully employed for the last half year. 👿 (9 months). Damed State Forced move damed broke us. And the expenses keep coming. They said that they would take care of expenses. NOT!!! Not to mention that all expenses were out of pocket with later pay back by the State. Still waiting on a lot of it.

Time to build the knife. Ummh, About 60 hours.

Caliber?= 1.50 Fill location top rear. just about the end of the butt. You can see the little round hole. 😉

I would like to try and build 7 or 8 of these over the next few months.

I feel a Rapid or Air Wolfe calling my name! 😀 Would make for a fantastic Christmas. 😆

Mike

Knife that is a work of art for sure hell the girl looks good to! all kiding aside I can only imagine the work involved to get something to look that nice!

Mike I have two questions.

1. What caliber is that thing?

2. Here do you put air into that thing.

😀 😀 😀 😀

Great work mike. I wonder how many here actually realizes how significant it is having the thumbs up of Bob Loveless?

To have permission to make Loveless style knives with the blessing of Bob Loveless is like having the thumbs up by Rembrandt to paint his works.

Now order a Wokbutt already or trade straight up for a chute knife 😛
