It would feel good for a while. 😆 But with having a little leo experience, (That’s law enforcement officer for you UK guys,) I’ve spent a little time visiting the penitentiaries around the area. A rich fuck in Killeen TX. had been been trying to buy up all the land around us for years. No one would sell. (He’s a crooked piece of shit!)
He learned that a new airport and college was being built near by through inside information. He had his city council buddy talk the city into taking the land. But legally they couldn’t get it done. The City convinced the state to condemn the land, pay a small amount for it, and sell it back to the City, so he could buy it from them. All so he could build a shopping plaza there and sell it. In other words, peoples land was taken that had been in some families for a century, so this rich bastard could make more money.
They originally offered 1000.00 per acre on frontage road land already taxed at over 100,000.00 per acre.
It is supposed to be illegal to use eminent domain for individual profit. In Killeen Tx. Legal means nothing. The citizens rights mean nothing. A very few, getting richer by the day on the backs of the citizens is part and parcel there.

They did that emminent domain shit here as well. The city of chino hills wanted to build a mall. But where they wanted to put it was the sheriffs station. So what they did was declare emminent domain on a horse ranch 1/2 mile away that people have lived and worked on for generations. Gave them a fraction of what is was worth. They moved the sheriff station to the horse property and then built the mall were the sheriffs were.
Bastards.

How or why would the state make you move your shop??
That is some sweet looking work…I’d LOVE to be able to finish out something like that..60 hours…wow..I dont have the patience to even began a project like that..I have made a few from some very old 2″ hacksaw blades, milled out the blanks, finished them on a belt sander and crammed them into a old deer antler for a handle.. 😆 about a hour each.. 😆 but hey..they will shave….and hold a edge.. nice work you are truly gifted!
Thank guy! The old industrial hack saw blades were good stuff. Back before they started electron beam welding the high speed steel on to a soft back. Only about a 1/4″ worth of good steel in them now days. Some times less!
I know what you mean about a shaving edge. I hate a gun that won’t shoot or a dull knife that won’t cut! 👿

Well I finally have gotten back into the shop. It has been rough not being gainfully employed for the last half year. 👿 (9 months). Damed State Forced move damed broke us. And the expenses keep coming. They said that they would take care of expenses. NOT!!! Not to mention that all expenses were out of pocket with later pay back by the State. Still waiting on a lot of it.
Time to build the knife. Ummh, About 60 hours.
Caliber?= 1.50 Fill location top rear. just about the end of the butt. You can see the little round hole. 😉
I would like to try and build 7 or 8 of these over the next few months.
I feel a Rapid or Air Wolfe calling my name! 😀 Would make for a fantastic Christmas. 😆
