Advice for a 1st big bore

I’m guessing that you can get an Extreme in about a month or less. Give them a call to make sure. I’ve had their 45 since December and really enjoy shooting it. Max fill is 4500.

Try Brent from extremebigbore air rifles in Michigan. They make a .308 that has some You Tube videos. Seems like about 900 fps with a 150 grain bullet for 4 shots.
I have a .45 from them and can attest to the quality of the build. I have not shot it yet since I am in the middle of moving. ugh
I have held it and tried to sleep with it a couple times (wife got mad go figure) They were extremely helpful and custom set up each rifle for the customers needs.
Brenttook mine home for the week en and shot t some to be sure everything worked cannot ask for more personal service!

I would saying get a Quackenbush but he is completely booked up for rifles for the foreseeable future,and can take no further orders until these orders are filled….
You see..Noone suggested not to get a Bigbore…Everyone want’s one and this is a headache for traditional Big Bore Makers in our days.

Hey Guys…Honestly I do like Beaumonts and Sinner too but …
I remember myself the first time i noticed them and my ears falling down when i saw the price…
All i want to say is that always many people get an expensive airgun as a 1st one(first mistake)..and after 5000-10000 shots looking for a better one(second mistake) because they are happy but “more” Is never enough and looking for perfection on something different and very promising according the rumours.
In reallity, opinions are like the ass hole…everyone has his own and defends it….that way they end up being collectors than shooters and the final result is always the same regardless of using different guns every time…. just remaining average shooters.

….For me,the only doubt when someone interesting to purchase on airguns must be..Bullpup or Rifle or pistol….in our days is rare to buy a crapy airgun…especially a PCP.

Tofazfou is an another example to those mentioning above.
I read his article “RISE OF THE TALONDOR” on his blog about his personal experience on his Talon.
He got it at 2005 and he was never truly satisfied with the all out accuracy of the gun whatever mod tried….so after three years he retired the TalonDor and dealed with other guns.
After a total recall he gave a try on .257 cal with it and suddenly realised that his worst gun now is one of his favourite.
Imagine what might be happen if he did not insisted and didn’t gave a second change on his Talon…He still would think that he own an average gun and needs replacement by an another better one,while it was already hard to beat.
…BUT…hey!!!wait a minute…its not the Talon “the something special”…its the discovery of the “RECIPE”….that recipe makes every gun able indeed whatever its price or appearance is.
So for example the .257 Haley can do the same thing but on a different style….The aesthetic choice is something personal and everyone want’s the taste of his preference .
However this doesnt means that all shooting techniques and caliber options are equally for everyone of us.

The high fpe AR wont’ shoot accurately out of the box,but this guy seems he found that “unique answer” which don’t work on every airgun…. 😉 ….beleive me…No airgun is for garbage…not even the one with the curved barrel.. 😀 ..just need to know her weak spot and the way she want’s to be rubbed by your hands.:D ..lol..!!!!

Amen to that. 4-5000 dollars for an airgun is getting fucking ridiculous and it only gets 2 shots…lol! Just me but from what i see, TODAY, it’s more about braggin rights and who can get the newest gun 1st. Then for all that money, they don’t even shoot the friggen thing….lol! I’ve shot a few high dollar ubber powerful guns and they don’t seem to be worth the price IMO. The 80 FPE air ranger comes to mind 1st. As my initial experience with it was LESS than satisfactory. Not saying they all were like that but the one i shot many times waaaas!

I do like the looks of the Drummen Sinner though and would simply LOVE to run one through the ringer if i got the chance.

Oh yeah….but one barrel of them cost half the price of a Haley Scandalous which i called “Dream of summer night”…..Overall you have to pay a lot for Beaumonts and Sinners and personally i believe that a good scope is much remarkable thing if you what to spend something more than your wallet acceptance .
4000$ for what???…accuracy? …
…only goat’s butt is extremely accurate…every piece of shit have the same size and shape.
Airguns needs tons of air,experienced shooters ,daily practice and unfussy projectiles…otherwise none of them worth it’s price,whatever brand it is.
So….my advice to the topic maker is…once you choose a caliber(very important) get a fuc****ing Big bore of your choice and be a part of it…..
…Because as an old American proverb saying “Beware the man who only has one gun”…..and i am an example on this although i own several pricey air rifles standing in my room’s corner for the last decade and seems that they probably will be remaining there forever after the.257 discovery .

Looks like a Daystate action on the first one, and the last looks like a Drummen Sinner. 😉 Very little known about the Sinner’s here in this country. Would love to have a Drummen .233! 😀
