Air Venturi .25
Has anyone tried the solid core, 61 grain, Air Venturi .25 pellets? Price is a bit steep compared to its competitors. I’ve never seen them listed at PA and there were no reviews… thought I’d ask.

The Surefire slugs cost Pablouk 30 cents each after shipping internationally. Shipping lead across oceans gets expensive fast. The slugs were less than half the cost.
The Surefire slugs are less expensive than the swaged slugs from PA. Considering that we custom size our slugs to fit your barrel, I’d say we present a pretty good value.
I don’t like the looks of that long bearing surface that needs to be engraved on the PA slugs. Hopefully, somebody here with a chrony and able to test for accuracy will let us know how they shoot.
There are no rings on those 25 pellets.
I have tried the air venturi 9mm 90 grain slugs and did not like them.
They were cast semi-hard and would not engage the rifling without pounding them in.
If these 22 pellets (with no rings) are hard also, they may not work very well???

I think anyone who tried a .25 would never go back to a .22
For hunting it means slightly more lee-way on shot placement as the .25 sure does mess up whatever it hits…. as you all know 😀

Just for the record and as everyone in my previous post can see, i wasn’t suggesting they were in any way expensive!! I can confirm that abou 20 cents on each slug was due to shipping, which Jerry was very fast and effecient at doing(as well as finding cheapest shipping for me).
Havn’t had chance to do a proper test on mine (6 ring) as i’ve been having clipping probs which have only recently been resolved.
