Airgun Review Channel Launched
Hey ya, guys!
So, as some of you know, I launched a Youtube channel called “Ted’s Holdover” last summer, under the username “EdgunUSA”. http://www.youtube.com/user/EdgunUSA
Well, my videos caught the attention of Airguns of Arizona, and they have agreed to ship me rifles for review. The first one – due to arrive any day – is the FX Royale 400. Hopefully, we’ll be able to get a review out at least once a month.

I bought the FX Royale when it first came out off of AOA. It’s one of my very favorite pieces. Extremely accurate bottle gun.

Video #1 is finally up. FX Royale 400 – trigger, mechanics, and chrony.
Part 2 will take place at the range and focus on accuracy. That one will be up in a week or two.

Hey Ted,
Can’t wait to see your Royale review. I have one and love it, although I’m tempted to sell it and get a Matador. I’d be curious to hear which gun you would keep if you could only have one, although I know you can’t make that comparison in your video. Might make the guys at AoA cranky.
I just watched your video where you were shooting shot gun shells using your new scope cam. It was so cool to see the pellets in slow-mo that were wobbling when your barrel was dirty, then flying true after running a patch through your barrel. I’m guessing I have the same issue with my Royale when it needs a cleaning. Cool stuff.

Ted is very good at this video lark, good commentary, some good humour. Very much enjoyed the pigeon hunting one. I zap pigeons a lot, but have yet to video any of it. I won’t bother now as the results won’t be anywhere near as good as Teds!! 😎 😆
I bought a .22 cal Royal. I got tired of waiting for Ed to release the .25 long. I needed something to play with.
I found the Royale to be a solid, well built, very accurate gun. Mine was not quite as accurate as my .22 standard Matador. It is also very long. I didn’t think that the fit and finish was up to the Edgun standards. If you can’t tell, I am really into bullpups and I drink a couple of gallons of Edgun Kool Aid daily!
I bought the Royale with the intention of making a bullpup out of it. I rebuilt it and then lost interest in it. It turned out pretty well. The bullpup stock still needs final sanding and finishing. I need to finish it up and sell it.
I am looking foreward to seeing what you think of the Royale.
I finally got around to shooting my Marod Pistol at 45 yards. It drops about 4 inches but the amazing thing is the group is 3/4″ Now thats amazing. Zero at 20 to 25 yards and 4″ low on 45. It’s not a Rifle but wasn’t ment to be 😀 I love my Maraud Pistol. It’s got the stockon it, I took the handles off and put them in the box so I wouldn’t loose them. Great squirrel pistol while setting under a tree 😀 😀

That is awesome Ted. Your videos are great. I am currently saving for/lusting after a Royale 400 so I am looking forward to your review. I am also wanting a Hawke Sidewinder 30 Tactical so that makes your Edgun videos even better.
