Allen screw connecting barrel and air tube snapped
I was reattaching my upper assembly today and tightened the screw connecting the assembly to the airtube a little too much. The shaft of the screw snapped in half and is stuck inside of the hole. How do I get this thing out? Man I’m an idiot…

I am now looking to buy a few spare O rings (I can already see signs of wear and tear on the ones in my magazines) from http://www.theoringstore.com/. In oldgoat’s list that he posted a while back, is the 4 x 1 Buna 90 cocking handle probe O ring the same one that sits in my R3M .25’s breech? I’m a little confused because I thought that the multishot Edguns have breech O rings and older, singleshot models have probe O rings. “Theoringstore” also does not carry any metric 90 Buna orings with a 1mm cross section. Does anyone know where to find them? I did a google search and no dice… Oldgoat’s list:

Trying to drill a hole and use an easy out should always be the last resort when all else has failed.
Actually, Ernest’s suggestion of using a micro needle nose pliers to remove the broken off screw shaft was something that I didn’t think about and, it could have worked out for you. Oh Well, at least you now know how to remove and replace some of the parts on your Matador.
And: Knifemaker; I just noticed the chat at the bottom of the page. You just besmirched my honor and good name by accusing me of being a “goat fucker”!

I found out that my neighbor had a micro grabit kit, so I first attempted that route. The grabit was unable to drill the initial hole that is needed to use the extractor end. The screw was, weirdly enough, broken at an angle so this could be the reason why the grabit didn’t work. I used the smallest (I think #1) size).
I then disassembled the gun further following oldgoat’s instructions and was able to unscrew the broken screw with a small pair of needle-nose pliers. Problem solved!
I bet it was my method, GRABIT!

I just finished taking out the broken screw and picked up a replacement at ACE. Man, what a relief.. Thanks again everyone!
Panic was a familiar feeling to me when I first tampered with my PCP air guns.
The only thing that kept me in the sport was the support and help available on this forum.
