I am starting on my .257 Condor build project. It will shoot a 74 grain slug at about 1000 fps. Should be good for coyotes out to a couple of hundred yards and sub MOA accurate with some tweaking. The boys are shooting 12 oz. soda cans out to 300+ yards with them in the other guns category. I think I will just send the expert gun smith the frame and let him build and test it out. Then I will need to borrow your Combro. 😛

I think the Combro was originally designed for .177, .20 and .22. Although .25 and .30 can be used with precaution, but a 100 grain cast bullet with no Mod or shroud?
I can imagine the look on your face when that thing blew 30 feet away. LOL.

I had my first experience of .35 cal airguns today. A friend has a hybrid Logun .35 and he casts his own bullets for that bad boy. He was shooting some casts weighing around 100 grains and i asked him avout the bullet speed and he said he didn’t really know but since i had my Combro at hand we decided to chrono that bastard of a gun. Mind you he didn’t have any muffler on it, no shroud or anything so it was kinda noisy. Well, we attached the Combro and he fired away. Big mistake! The Combro flew about 30 yards due the muzzle blast alone. It didn’t get hit by the bullet though so i think it still works although i need to separate the halves and reattach the front sensor since it jumped out of its recess. Damned big-bore …

I’ve got appx 10k 35 cal JSB sitting on shelf in anticipation for the day Ed releases his version.
I’ve been debating picking up the Evanix pup in 35 in meantime based on Mannys reviews of how well they have worked in similar conditions I would be using it in.

I stopped by a firearms dealer here just outside Oslo yesterday. And guess what ! He is now stocking JSB 30s and JSB35s !!!! 😯
That .35 pellet is a seriously nasty bucket. I asked why .35, – and he stated there was a demand building up. I wonder what for……..
He also mentioned Bobcats arriving in a few days…….

I only wanted one years ago but missed out, weird deal for another time, but when I happened to call Tony a couple of weeks ago he had just got this group in so i grabbed the .25, thought for a week and wanted a shorty too so the .22 happened after hearing he had a few. and now the .30 opportunity. UGG I could of afforded ya last month but I got to save up again now before we can talk !!! I am done for a while, believe me !!! and if not ask the better half,,,,,,,,, never mind I seemed to have neglected to tell her but we stop Sat. to pick up the .30 while we are on the family vacation so it ain’t gonna be a secret much longer. 😀 buying guns on the family vacation,

And it actually flew 30 yards. I tested if the poor thing still had any life in it and it did. I just need to re-align those sensors and i think it´s good to go. A tough little bugger…
