any slingshot shooters here?
I am having lotsa fun lately with my plingshot and some 36 cal roundballs
i am pretty good at blasting beercans at out to 25 yards now
anyone else shoot them?
what kind do you have?
in ny it is illegal to own onw with a wrist support so i have a standard one with powerbands and one with flatbands
and i just orderd another one

yeah I’ve been playing around and I think the replacing the noc for a golf tee will work wonders. Also I tried some muzzie type (blade starts at the point) broad heads with a 22″ xbow bolt and got 2 more inches of penetration.

also the stronger you make the bands , the harder it will be to pull, so lalcking accuracy.
The guy that killed the hog in the video link pulled that sling very easy,the black bands, mine is way harder than that to pull.

i am going to construct a slingshot similar to this one and use a wisker biscuit like you said
see if i can hit 200+ fps
not really trying to shoot for accuracy crow , just was curious about the fps.but with the limited time i have played with it , i could kill a deer at 10 yards easy.
I think that with a good arrow rest like a whisker bisquit , i think that you could get some fine accuracy.
All i know is this thing is hitting harder than my 50# recurve, did you watch the video that i posted.

i just wanna knock a deer down at 15 yards
i see them pass my blnd regurly now at 20 and less
i used to use my 43 lb recurve with good sucess so i know ill be able to knock one down with this thing
plus i am not using 500 grain arrows
i cut mine down from 31.5 inches to 27 inches and installed the 85 grain tips not the 125 i normally use
befor i was at 525 weight now i gotta be down under 400

I have a 50 # re curve , and it will shoot in the 170’s, but at normal draw, 28” it is 160’s.
My sons 3 year old Parker , 50# compound shoots right at 200 fps for comparison.
I think i am bending the frame on this folding falcon, i need to put it back to one strand and build another frame to play with.

benneeb0y what kind of groups ya gettin , and do you know the fps that it is shooting.
