No, just me. The wife can cower in the corner, admiring my manliness. I was just toying with the idea of getting a shotgun for home defense, and thought that a short shotgun would be more maneuverable, as whilst I live in a large house there are quite a few corners to negotiate.

Which old shotgun is that? It looks like a transfer pin firing mechanism… 😕 I almost got the Howdah but went for the 1858 Rem new army target instead, with a conversion cylinder to 45LC it’s now fully SD capable…

Hey all,
Newbie here. Doing a favor for a friend. He is looking for a rear stock, like the Rossi pictured in the posts. He has a non-functional cowboy, type of gun, which was built off of an old Rossi 2 barrel SA which was de-milled. He wants a rear stock for it so it appears more like a “stage coach” gun. The barrels are much longer on the gun pictured here, but he doesn’t care about that. Just looking for the shorter, pistol like grip for the rear. Again, this is some sort of Rossi 12 guage with double set triggers he picked up somewhere but it’s been cut in some way so it’s not functional. So he’s looking for a display piece to add to his cowboy collection. If anybody knows where to get a rear grip like this, or can make one for him that would fit his original Rossi, I’d appreciate passing along the info (AND the price). I told him to just go buy the real deal but he isn’t interested in that.
