I have been debating Edgin or FX Bobcat leaning towards Bobcat because I do not fix anything I want service! lol I would rather pay thean spend time repairing myself.

It’s coming brother! Hang in there. I’ll have it in my hands this evening.

Thanks guys.

They made a few changes. The stock of course, they milled some more metal out of the chassis to lighten it up, they changed the shroud design to incorporate some rear vent holes, and they now have removable baffle segments/extensions of which I ordered 6. They will also have a removable larger tank come January.

Hmmmm…..Those are some interesting changes. Weight, noise, and shot count will be favorably impacted! Removable, up-sized air tank…now that’s an important improvement for a .30 caliber as those big boys have a large appetite for air when tossing those mammoth pellets! shroud extensions with extra baffles available…to some people that is a critical improvement!

If the stock is cosmetically improved, he could well have a very nice piece of gear that will compete with just about anything on the market.

Things are definitely looking up at FX. Thanks for the detailed update microsalmo!!!

hope see a great and accurate review about your new Bobcat…

I had a .30 BC one of the first 4 in the US. the gun shot amazing!!! i just couldn’t get over the stock and the weight. one hole affair 70 yards all day. Im gonna wait it out for a walnut!! if they can cut the weight down and add a wood stock, FX will trump the Bullpup market. !!!

One hole affair at 70 yards. Did you try to shoot more than one shot at the same target? Mine guns do that all the time :ugeek:

According to UPS, my package has experienced a delay… When will these guys learn to use FedEx?! 🙄

Thanks guys.

Is “newly designed” referring to the new stock or have they upgraded other aspects of the rifle?
I will be looking forward to your report.
You don’t hear too much bad about those bobcats.

Good luck Steve! I am curious as to how the .30 cal will look with the new stock.

They whacked my card last night, so I hope to have pics, chrony, and group info up soon. Steve
