Banned
Well It’s official. There was a thread on Air Gun Advice about the use of nitrogen in PCP Air Guns. It was stated by one of the mod’s there that it was dangerous and not allowed by ANY Air Gun Manufacturer. I made the mistake of pointing out that AF did allow it in their guns. And that it was safe when used with the proper fill gages.
We were warned not to talk about it further, yet then went on to state that it couldn’t be used in a closed area. He stated that nitrogen displaced oxygen. I tried to point out that the Air we breath is full of nitrogen, and that Co2 was used in fire fighting and does indeed displace oxygen, yet many thousands of us shoot Co2 without incident. Just as nitrogen is used by many paint ball shooter. That was it! I was Banned with further notification. Not even the common decency of a PM or E-Mail Just banned by inactivating my account. Great bunch of Mod’s over there!
It seems if it is something that they do not know about personally, or use them selves, it isn’t allowed to be discussed. Narrow mindedness at it’s best! 👿 Censorship at it’s worst.
A shame as I was very interested in Rapids and the new Air Wolf CMT’s, and have a lot of friends over there. 😥 .

I met Denskin a couple years ago at Roanoke. Great guy and I really enjoyed talking with him.
I’ve never met Walt, but I’d venture a guess that he’d be the same way. It’s a part of his charm. haha and… believe it or not, Walt knows his shit.
Besides…. if we get bored, we can always poke the bear and discuss the differences, or lack thereof, depending on how you think….. of PCP and HPA…. 😆
Thanks Rob. I consider it a privelege to be considered somewhat like Denskin. I met him at Littlerock a couple years ago and if his health had held we were booked to go hog hunting together after the show. He was not able to go but made the effort to get there and meet me. Great guy.

I have been and currently am on a lot of different forums. If I told you, you would not believe it. Anyway I have found that many Moderators have the God complex, argue with them and they say ” To hell with you now, you’re banned” just because they can, and flaunt it. No people skills about them, no compromise, just hard liner reaction. I’ve never been banned yet, but I will not take the bullshit either. On a Vette forum I went up against the main administrator. He tried to flame me for posting a for sale ad and being away from the Forum for 4 years. Called my stuff “junk”. Never the less I gave it right back to the A-hole.
TAG is my favorite forum right now….laid back, get along, air gunning hobbyists enjoying life. Good eye!
