Q:

I did some searching becasue I know this has been brought up before but not much came up for me! I know alot of guys spray there gun stocks up with Bed Liner my question is what brand would you guys suggest? I don’t really like the real clumpy shit but some texture is what it is all about! and I am going to guess some do and look better than other! So if you get a chance let me know what some of you have used and how you like it thanks Eddie

Eddie,

I use this and it is great.Very strong, very smooth, not too textured (unless you build up many layers). It comes in gray with white fleck or black with gray/white fleck. You can paint it any color you like. I did a couple flat black and I also did a few gloss black.

For some reason the link is not working as it should. When you click on it and get to the site type in dupliclor spatter paint in the search.

Ha, we have this conversation every 4 mos or so., WOK and SAW’s Great HF debate.
I like going to HF once in a while, especially parking lot sale time
Hanen’t been there in a couple years.
They usually have cheap RC planes on sale, make good targets
Last one I flew from my house, put it in a climbing thermal pattern and let it go, disappeared in the clouds, wonder where it landed ❓ ❓

Seriously, I steer clear of the Chicago Pneumatic stuff, lets say you need a mini grinder, do you get the HF model for $39.99
or the makita for $79.99, to me thats a no brainer, I have personally seen the HF model self destruct in one day at the jobsite, my Makita will probablly outlast me !!!!!
Yeah, both made in China, what isn’t ? Sure the Makita costs x2, but the service life is what counts.
Purchasing bubble gum machine power tools just doesn’t save you money.
Not to mention, when it does fail, your in the middle of a project and gotta go replace it.
I have been buying power tools for 30 years, I know.
One of the first tools I bought was a Porter Cable belt sander, guess what
still have it in the truck and it still runs like a champ, been through a couple sets of brushes and plates, but it still runs strong.

Just my experience, not preaching to any of you guys, just sharing what I have learned thats all.

Jeez, I think Roachcreek is wearing on me, I never post this much
🙄 🙄

Saw.

It is not “sensitive” it is laughter.

When people LOVE their Chinese made computer, cell phones and TV’s and persistent Chinese made is inferior has become comical.

As for “Sucking my Balls” I thought that was what you had to do when I said one day you will go to HF and buy stuff?….. maybe not.

No not that blue laminate NEVER Happen Synopsys!! I am making a new stock for my Airforce Condor one piece stock! I made it out of poplar because of the weight of the wood is light, and planned on spraying with bedliner thought it would look good on the Condor for sure! Kind of a copy of one I have seen for sale, some of there ideas and some of my own so I guess we can call this one the Eddiegun!!! 😯 😯 How are things going with you any good shooting or mods going on at your place??

😆

Eddie, your not painting your new stock are you??? 😯

Ha, pretty sensitive bout the HF aren’t you 😯 😯 😯 😯

Seriously that trunk paint they sell is good shit, put that on my custom stock
still holding up well.

As far as sucking your balls , I’ll pass, I only suck pussy and tits.
Fact of the matter is, if you want your balls sucked, my pit bull might
if you put some steak scrap on them 😛 😛 😛 😛 😛

That paint from HF is Dupli-color if I recall correctly, and yes good stuff.
However, 😀 😀 , one in a million there.

Here we go again. I believe instead of buying a $3.00 chisel 5 times,
buy a $15.00 chisel once. We all have our ways, and I believe to do it right the first time around, I am talking about things you make a living for, tools
I cannot aford to have something break at the job site, the cost of leaving site and tracking down a replacement just not worth it.
For the happy home owner sure it will get you by, for me, I can’t afford it.

SAW

Don’t beat around the bush Adam let Saw know what you want 😯 😯 😯

suck my balls saw 🙂

Thanks Saw I have seen that post before and the post I have on yellow just posted the same! I like the fine spray look not the clumpy on a gun that is the look I am wanting 😆

How are the mill projects going! I had several things set back before I got mine, mad a stock and working on another one for my Condor this week so far so good, the mill sure made it a better job along with several other projects!

never thought I would say this
Harbor Frieght, duplicolor trunk paint like 3.00 a can 🙄
Pretty good
