Q:

Bipod —> Is this the right Choice.

Have planning to buy a bipod and have been runing a search through all the past bipod topics in TAG.

I couldn’t find anyone white about the longer models of Harris Bipods : HB25C-S

http://cgi.ebay.com/HARRIS-RIFLE-BIPOD-S-25C-HINGED-MODEL-13-5-27-EXTEND_W0QQitemZ390159365477QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item5ad74f7565

Kindly help me make the right choice.

I don’t do a lot of bench shooting….

Need this for long shots about 80 ~ ~ ~ 120 yards range (Varmints)

Kindly pen down your inputs if I am missing out something other than the swivel adapter to mount this setup.

You can’t really go wrong with a Harris…

I bought three other brands before I finally plunked down for the real thing, should have done it long ago…

Thanks AWS for the Reply.

I do have a shooting stick, but trust me…in hunting its a quick shot and I feel I would be faster with a bipod than a shooting stick from my shooting stick experiences.

I was so convinced with a shooting stick so I made one at home :

I made it so good and enhanced it with a brass spring load to lock it in place as well.

All my learning’s were from the below link :

Some Pics………

Would love to hear more experiences from users who are using taller version bipods
Thanks again AWS

mist, that might work well for prone or sitting shots but you may also want to look at a pair of shooting sticks for kneeling and to get up above tall grasses and vegetation if it is primarily hunting you wish to do. just my .02$
