Q:

Black Mambas……Jerry’s Slugs…AAA.25 Condor

My buddy Jerry B. mixed me up a batch of black sure fire pellets exclusive to TalonTunes and they came out NICE!
Here are the 7 ring 70grns compared to Kodiaks…..

With my tuned Condor and custom hammer I was able squeeze out an average 845FPS for a whopping 111FPE….Here is the rifle I used. Custom AAA.25 with custom grips and Wokbutt.
The breech ID was also opened up so the whole pellet seats with an easy push of the thumb.

Just want say a big Thank You to Jerry for some hard hitting slugs.
Thanks, Tony

AG….if that’s your situation I would carry a standard flow tank and learn the POI of each tank.
Good Luck, Tony

Loud and Clear! Thanks for the straight forward explainations… 😎

Just go back a few pages from the end. Bottom line is that the .22s will cost you just short of double what we sell the .25s for and probably (test data is incomplete) won’t shoot near as well.

Vogel sells some .22s and your results might be great. I don’t know if he hates me for plugging the 22s (damn those tiny slugs are a pain to cast) but there you have it.

The info is out there and I’ll point to it but I won’t rewrite it or spoon feed anyone. We make decent .25 slugs (and larger) for a very good price point compared to other handmade to order custom sized slugs. We have not raised prices for years but we need to soon. We will make those .22s but if you buy them at the price we’re going to charge and having had the chance to read my disappointment here, I don’t ever want to hear a negative sound!

I’m saying, very clearly, DON’T buy .22 slugs from Jerry/Surefire because they cost a lot and tests have not shown they shoot worth a hoot (sorry Hoot).

Jerry,

Just got myself a .22 barrel… Shoothing heaviest EunJin over 1100 fps.. If you have the heavier .22 slugs would sure helps.

Can you post a link to the topic you mentioned? You sales thread is too long and couldn’t find the .22 discussion anywhere.

Go to the for sale section and scroll back through the pages on my ad. .22s were tried and proved to be unprofitable even if somebody, somewhere had far better results than my testers.

Nope, doesn’t work in 22…

Does such a thing as a .22 7-ring slug exist?

I have a monstrous, but slow opening valve that could use all the resistance possible in-barrel.

I can count the rings! Give me a couple minutes and I’ll prove global warming..LOL!

Take a look at this…….just got this email about the Black Mambas.

Expansion to the MAX…
Can’t wait to anchor one of these right between the eyes of a big hog un believable

Thanks Tony. I think your making the guns with a proper lead in will make a nice difference. All the info I have so far says that’s true. I like that picture, even with a little .25 blown uo to the size of a beer can on my screen, the slugs still show a nice rich black.

i been waiting for those slugs for a while…maybe next get jerry to cast some black slugs for that new big bore… 😈

With proper lead in these pellets load effortlessly….getting feed back off some heavy game being taken…..
Great job Jerry

These slugs by nature of the color process get inspected several times and smaller imperfections can be cause for rejection.

So what are the tolerance differences of these special slugs compared to the ones i bought?

Very nice and nice choice in BLACK! Hey Tony the AAA.25 you made me isn’t working, it only hit 101 fpe with the 7 rings, not 111 😆
