Bought a Condor
Got it off another forum, from one of your members.. although I am looking forward to shooting this gun, I’ve come to some conclusions about AirForce rifles after reading on this forum:
1. i paid $700 for a $350 gun
2. After I spend another $700 ( minimum.. ) I’ll have what a $700 dollar gun should be.
3. I don’t need to eat……….. 😛

I know they aint cheap, but your going to be hard pressed to find a more accurate and powerfull air rifle that can group at 100 yards out of the box with interchangeable barrels for less money.
Sell it? HeLL no! I may be crazy, but I’m not stupid! lol! And I got the money to buy this with by buying and selling airguns, stating with a Crosman 2250b and I made a profit on every one of them. I don’t dislike this gun, just stating the obvious. Its a nice gun, just overpriced for what it is. I’ll build it into what i want, i know what its potential is.
I don’t know what you got? But I bought a new condor from Airhog and it “‘Shot straight out the box, actually had air in the tank, just like yours”’.
There’s a learning curve that you should consider! I had to learn that my condor went crazy shooting with a 3K fill of air, but shot sweet on a fill of 2800psi till the day I sold it. I did mods to the trigger, not because it needed ’em but because I wanted a better trigger pull.
Should you want to sell it for $350.xx, don’t think\hesitate? Put it in the For Sale section, provided you have enough posts on the TAG and I’m sure you’ll make two people happy, yourself and the buyer!

Nahh, I’m just saying, as they come stock, They really aren’t worth the price. Mechanically, they are a good design, but the overall quality for a gun of that price isn’t there. I turned a $60 Crosman 2240 into a very nice gun for $300. You buy this gun and its not even ready to shoot without buying “extras”! Thankfully i got the extras with mine for the price I paid. I’m sure I’ll enjoy shooting it, and tinkering with it. I just think AirForce should up there quality a bit.

I don’t know what he got, but sometimes there is a difference in the valves on the gun. It is a simple fix, but if he don’t know anything about it , I wouldn’t want to walk him through it he might get blown up.
IMHO i have 5 Air force Rifles and the Marauders and the discoveries and springer’s that are 15+ years old and one old daisy red Ryder Ive had seems like forever lolol.
The Air Force rifle for the money is the Best Air Rifle out there, It is powerful accurate and I consider Cheep in price when compared to the others in the top end Guns.
Honestly I wouldn’t trade my Stubby for an Ed gun considering I had to keep either one.
Of course the Edgun cost more, but price difference the Ed it too expensive and over priced in the market.
I’m not saying it isn’t a well made straight shooting gun, it’s just over priced.
So for the guy with the Airforce trouble, I’d say maybe the guy who sold it to you might have tried to peek and tune it and got it out of Whack.

I have a bone stock condor that groups 1.5″ at 50 yards with 18gn ultramags. Start pressure 2400psi and pw 1.8
Other than a quality scope and pony scuba tank. That’s all I need.
There are nicer looking and better performing guns but this does what I need.
