Boy is the wife gonna kill me…
Went to the little gun show here in Ohio a few days ago, with the intent of buying something.
Since I’m on the Edgun list, I figured I would pick up something to hold-me-over for the next few months. Some little to medium type of gun. I even had a little list all made up of prospective guns..here are a few.
Prod pistol
AA410 .22
AA510 .22
BSA R-10..
A few others in the mid range, If an FX400 or 500 was there..then who knows.
Saw some FX 2000’s…I never heard of em..an older model i think, not on list.
Walked around the place, talked to Dennis Quakenbush (nice guy), spotted a AA410…crap .177.
Checked out a few Corsair 308’s..then a Daystate.
Picked it up , held it, stroked it, played with it. It reached out to me…It whispered in my ear, it held me…
I’m in so much trouble.

Better yet, tell her I bought the gun, and let you use it till your EdGun comes in…then when your EdGun gets there, just send the MCT to me :D, then you don’t have to worry about it 😀 :thumb: and this way you won’t get :whoop:

Swapped scopes around and shot in basement at 10Yards.
Pellet in pellet as expected. Chronyed at 845fps on high, 735 on low power. 44fp and 32fp.
I have no words to describe its action except…its just as smooth as butter.
Gun is VERY quiet, much more so than the AF gun with its shroud. Watch that FX Whisper library video..its like that.
We have 26mph winds here today with very gusty conditions.
In spite of the wind I took 20 shots at 40 yards. The first 10 were sighting in the scope a little better.
The next 10, made a horizontal line 2″ wide 1/4″ tall..the wind blowing them all over ..on a horazontal axis. About 5 made 1 large hole. I was not trying very hard, just shooting a few.
Gun put away..shooting off deck with wife sleeping on couch..gun hidden again.
Shoots like butter..smooth
Happy with it? So far, but to early to tell, sure looks good so far. We shall have to see what it can do without all this wind.
Critters, I would think its the new go to gun for all hunting needs.
When you get the ED decide wich rifle you like more and tell the wife the other is for her. 😆

Personally, I don’t see why you want to lie to her. She’s gonna see the scope and know that it was at least $300. She’s not stupid you know. 😉 I might even consider placing a piece of tape over the Daystate name and writing on it something like Daisy…Red Ryder, or crosman…Marauder. Just a thought.

Very simple been there done that! Very simple solution to your problem and really simple 🙄 Just tell her what you did, You bought an air rifle for 200 dollars! you seen another one you really liked, but it was just to much money to spend, so I got this one!! 😯 😯 😯
