BP conversions with Edgun stocks copied
I know imitation is sincerest form of flattery but this is taking it a bit far( IMHO) to almost duplicate someone else’s BP stock design for sale. Aren’t Eds stocks made in Spain? Same maker or great copy?

I got his kit and like it.works as described.stock looks and f eels hand made with tools.finish is ok.sanding leave a lot to be desired but liveable.trigger is very good.this kit is for m-rod 😀
I just took the plunge and ordered a kit from Javier (Rapid-70). Maybe a bit of a risk, but he seems like he’s on the up & up. I will keep everyone posted on how things go and how the kit performs once I (hopefully) get it from Spain.

All this talk about EDGun stocks and smoking things make me want to do a roadtrip to Holland and get a genuine spare stock from Luchtbuks/Airgun heaven and while there a little de-tour thru Amsterdam and some of those friendly Coffeshops there could really make that trip worth while …

I don’t have an MRod to pattern it from so no go. Send me out a MRod action, tube and barrel and i’ll get one made up for ya. I don’t do the linkage and tube holder/scope mount things though. I could but I doubt it would all line up perfectly like it should.
If you can muster up someone who can make the other parts but can’t design a stock worth a shit I can design the stock and make the prototype for FREE. They would need to use a duplicator or cnc to make the retail items. I just need the action to create the inletting and get the shape worked out, shit i’ll even send back the action, I don’t need it.

Could it be because it’s a fine design, no patent protection has been applied for…nor any intent indicated to do so. Take a closer look at the serial number picture…these are hand made, hand finished, and it shows. There’s no CNC edges, no factory perfect stain or finish, no imported walnut, no glitter or gloss….just hard, hand’s-on work, by a poor mutt trying to earn a couple of lousy Euros, and get his piece of the pie. If it fits a Marauder, a Hatsan, or an AA…why would Ed care??? Why would anyone buy one for an Edgun, when the original Edgun stock can be had for less money?

I have not a week ago been quoted the price of 200euros + shipping for a replacement R3 stock from the EU distributor, so the truth of the matter is “yes” R3 stocks are available from ED; at least from this side of the pound.

That link is not to any of my stocks btw… With regards to designing the stock I would do it in collaboration with someone who was making the aluminum bits for the conversion kit. Simply having a stock would do you no real good without the linkage and the scope rail/tube clamps.
With regards to the EdGun copies, I find is somewhat amusing that these guys are quick to push the product but continue to skip over the elephant in the room.

The kit is complete:

shifted trigger system
aeronautical aluminum parts anodized
weaver rail
Do not modify any of the original.
The trigger is smooth as the original. can regulate the first time on the trigger offset.
And you can adjust the second time in the original trigger, giving the hardness that you want to trigger displaced.
