Q:

breech improvement?

im sure it has popped up a couple of times, but in our never ending quest for efficiency, has anybody considered cutting an extra o ring slot in both ends of the breech slide, doubling the sealing potential of the breech(theoretically), at the compromise of a perhaps slightly stickier action? this to me seems to be a weak spot in the AF design. if it has been done, somebody please chime in with their findings.

like for a springer piston? ive been thinking of that for a while, that would be nothing short of perfect! 😀

It has on a recent post and one to have done i think. also changing the oring type too. the oem ones are like rocking horse shit to get hold of here so idealy, if i had one made to suite i would have one in the part where the tophat seats and two doubles as you suggested with a more common size and bigger surface contact area.
