Q:

Bugs (Crickets)

It’s been really warm in Oklahoma lately and our bugs are still out. Went outside this afternoon and found a big Cricket on my front porch 😀 . A great day in the neighborhood.

Seems like this has been a long waite but it’s finally over. Was not sure I would ever really hold one in my hands. Feels really good guys and girls

I was very surprised at just how small they really are. Easily laid in the front seat of my jeep next to me. Hummmmm wonder what I could do with that. I know there have been issues with the boxing and shippments of other guns but not to worry about how the Crickets are shipped. Double boxed, popcorn, foam tubes and bubble wrapped. Just say it’s done right. It came with two mags and an extra set of o-rings. I was worried about the instructions being in Russian and my Russian sucks. Not to worry there are no instructions to translate 😯 😀

By the time I got my scope mounted the sun was gone so no zeroing this evening. I did not sleep last night thinking about the delivery and tonight I won’t sleep thinking about the sun coming up.

So really all I can tell you is it’s a sweet little rifle that feels good and has a great finish on it. Now my learning curve starts all over again on this new rifle. Is this not a great hobbie? 🙄 Also Dima Andrianov, the dealer was great to work with… 🙂

Oldguy

Is it left hand friendly with the lever action being on the right side of stock. Would be quite the disappointment to order a gun costing $$$ and not be comfortable to shoot.

very nice looking rifle 😉

How was the trigger action?

the smoothness of the magazine cycling ?

Thank you,
James

I want to apologize to (Joe) 1oldguy2 for not getting this posted sooner. This is an e mail he sent me showing off his new “bug”.

Here is a copy of his e mail and pics he sent.

Here is this mornings work in light rain. Zeroed the Cricket off hand
against a pole on my shop. Picked a knot hole out and went after it. Rifle
came right in. Went to my make shift rest (darn Cricket is so small won’t
fit my rest)and shot two groups of five shots, JSB Exact 18.13 gr at 35
yards. Top five first then dailed her down and got lucky and found the
center on the next five shots. Yes, I am happy.

Very neighbor friendly rifle. Right now I have no idea the speed it is
shooting. I will tell you it puts clean holes in 3/4″ boards at fourty
yards. Looks like a paper puch hole. I’ve said this already but it is one
sweet little rifle.

Joe

Take some picts and email them to me. I will post them up here

Hey Dave feel free to post those pictures I sent you today if you’d like. 😎

Not having any luck with photobucket 👿 It’s smarter than me or it really sucks as a host…. 😯 …for photos.

Here is a short up date; got the scope mounted this AM, steped out side my shop and shot a round at a knothole in the fense. Adjusted scope and in two more rounds was very close. Set up my target box at 35 yards and went to the table. Had to use a make shift rest because this little rifle was too small for my normal rest. Shooting at a two inch Birchwood Casy target. Fired 5 shots in a ragged hole just right of top center. Cranked the scope down and got the next five in a smaller one hole group in the black center diamond. 😯 😀

Outstanding trigger for me anyway. Then the rain started so I shut down for the day. This is one fine rifle and I am one happy guy.

Joe I told you I could that “bug” sighted in tonight for you. I have a lighted back yard with 75 yards to shoot in 😉

Oldguy,

You got the first delivery that I’m aware of, congrats! Keep us in the loop and be sure to include pictures and a review. I think there are a few of us that are not even expecting one of them there bugs and are just as excited as yourself, maybe not quite as yourself, but just knowing that there is now availability here in the states. Well get up early – we’re expecting feed back. LOL

This post really needs some pictures!
