It’s just a 700 action. I thought the Howa mini wasn’t out yet. Is it now available?
You can use the same bullets in the Creedmor and get less recoil, just use a lighter load.
What action is your Grendel? Is it the new Howa super-short?
Whatever cartridge you like someone can always say “oh X is better”. Sure the Grendel is an AR platform cartridge but the potential for a lightweight varmint rifle in the 6.5 for coyote is a serious choice because of the low recoil and ease of obtaining quality bullets. I have a Creedmoor and the recoil is immensely more with the Creedmoor. I have been shooting the Grendel for a while now and it is very easy to manage. For coyote it is just about perfect.
No, it’s not. The Grendel cartridge was specifically designed for the AR-15 platform. All of the compromises in the cartridge were based on fitting the dimensions of that platform. If you are moving to a platform not based on the AR-15 dimensions, then there is no reason to limit your cartridge choice from the better 6.5 variants that already exist.
As far as the .223, there are bolt guns in that caliber, but they are maybe 5% on the market.
You are right that a bullpup doesn’t have to be semiauto, but the advantages of the bullpup form factor are greater if it is semi auto.
Thats like saying the .223 is a gas gun caliber. Erroneous on all accounts. Plus who said bullpups have to be semiautomatic
Still waiting for someone to make a quality Grendel bullpup . . . .

Keltec has been saying they will have one for years.
And bolt action doesn’t count, even if the price of the desert tech stuff was reasonable. Grendel is a gas gun caliber; if you are going bolt action there’s no reason not to go 260 rem, 6.5 Creedmor, etc.

and you don’t have to worry about a wounded critter getting away and easy to find the next day just look for a swarm
of flies and follow the ants trail , they will take you to whatever is left . Now how much easier can be . 😆 😆 😆
Accuracy is rather horrible when compared to high end bullpups not to mention the ammo costs. Single shot and slow reloading. Of course near misses are also humane kills so perhaps accuracy is not all that important 😆
Actually , I would prefer using a M 72 LAW . For sure there won’t be much left , but look at it this way a true real kill

6.5 Grendel is the best yote gun I have ever built.

Sorry, I thought it was out already, but looking around it seems like there are only samples.
