Bullmaster… Semi Auto Bullpup
Surprised no one has mentioned this here, unless I’ve just missed it.
Sure, it looks ..well… reminds me of an old Army term for a fuel can spout… it’s positively horrid looking.
But… if it will deliver on the 50 shots a fill and good accuracy with reliable semi auto for under a grand… hell yeah.
Guess I’ll find out tomorrow. :8:

At 10 lbs. plus , I would not want to take this gun into the field for hunting , really heavy for a gun that is only maxed at
.22 caliber . As a bench rest gun that it was design for , what type of field blind set-up shooting would it be best suited
for ?

Not sure about the connecting bits. Until I decide if that all is good with this, I’ll not modify it in any way. But absolutely, it needs ‘something’ here to pretty it up a bit.
Do you need to keep those connecting plastic bits, ….or can you cut them off ?

A couple more groups… just came in from outside after shooting these.
Some groups were quick, some I took my time on. POI shifts are due to me screwing around with the scope.
Still no issues with the semi auto on it other than burning through pellets quicker than normal.
yes, it’s ugly..but it’s fun.
Stepped out to run a few quick over the chrony on break.

Not a huge indicator of much at this point and not a full string, but I was curious.
OK… so I got the Bullmaster.
I’ve only got a min or two for lunch so I quick aired it up, scoped it and rough sighted and fired out just one group.
Initial thoughts..
Build quality is typical Hatsan, as expected. It’s not a refined gun.
Trigger… not great. I’ll have to see if there are adjustments
It does balance well. I dont think it’s too heavy. Sure, it’s heavier than my Cricket or Colibri, but it’s not bad at all.
Noise… Not a loud gun. Sounds like a stock TalonSS. Sound is so subjective, but I just dont think it’s all that loud.
Semi functions fine so far… no issues, but I only ran a quick mag through to test semi… then another mag to rough sight in and do a group.
Accuracy….
well… this is my first and only group. I’m happy.
More as I get time.
Yeah, I saw the vids. I’m thinking the guy was the fault on the groups rather than the gun, but who knows… I should find out today what the deal is.
…and yes…. it looks pretty ridiculous, I’ll admit. Like something out of Ghostbusters.
and it’s heavy, which is ok depending on how well it balances.
I can get past the looks if it performs. I’m not as inclined to take the groups I saw on the vid from Twang n Bang at much face value to be honest. If mine doesnt group, I’ll be sending it back. No harm, no foul.

Checked it out on You Tube and and at 11 yards all 12 rounds where all over like a shot gun blast . For myself I was not impressed .
From what I saw on You Tube this semi-auto is a joke and not only ugly but totally worthless . They did state that this gun was made
for bench rest shooting . Well if you want to shoot and kill paper targets under 11 yards maybe this is the gun for you ? For me it is a
piece of garbage made in Turkey , and I almost forgot to tell you that this is also a very loud gun and is no way back yard friendly . :2cents:

How does the semi-auto work then? Is there a piston in the shroud like FX Monsoon has or does it take air from the transfer port like Steyr?
