Q:

Can’t decide between S410 carbine and Beeman Falcon C carbin

I keep going back and forth between these two carbines. I already have an S410 ERB sidelever that I really like. Now I want to get a carbine. I have 3 firearms for sale now and as soon as funds come through i will get the carbine. Both the S410 and the Falcon are about the same size 35″ long and 5.5 pounds. I like the stock better on the Falcon but I will probably build another custom stock if I get the S410. Both seem to be in the 27-30 fpe range; plenty for 50-60 yard rabbits and squirrels and hopefully a turkey in the future. I am currently leaning toward the S410 since I already have an RC machine magazine and single shot adapter that will fit. I think that the Falcon has a little more power but both will serve my needs well. What do you guys think? Has anybody played with both of these guns? If you have either of these guns would you please measure them and let me know the exact length. I find differenr numbers on different sites. Thanks for your help,
Kenny.

I’ve got several S4xx guns and have a Falcon PF25…. not quite the Falcon-C, but enough to speak about.

Pro’s and Con’s…

AAS4xx

Pro…. stable and proven platform that is easily moddable and one can get parts/bits almost everywhere.

Con… Might not be as unique as one would like.

Falcon

Pro….. I’ve yet to see a Falcon that wasnt an absolute tackdriver.

Con…. Shot count tends to be a bit lacking with guns of comparable sized tubes. Falcon has all but went under and is now being imported by Beeman. Support may be an issue, especially in the long run.

If you’re going to do a custom stock on the S410 anyway I’d get the Falcon since you like the design. Save you some money and add some variety.

That said, I have been window shopping too and I’d go S410 having never owned either.
