That would be nice . But it would also be good to efficiently use the air that is just blowing out the barrel now . As a alliterative it might let me keep the power were it is at and pick up the shot count . I use this rifle for paper only at this time so a long barrel is not a issue . And I have the 24 now if I go to the field latter .Marvin

are looking at the longer barrel to get the 50gr’rs to 1000fps or so?

About a 1-15 . I use a Cabin tree bhn tester to test my ingots before I cast and bullets after I cast . Marvin

So that works out to what as far as alloy,20/1, 30/1?

LBT molds are good not cheap but I have seen a lot more expensive for sure . Accuracy wise both these bullets give consistent moa at 100 yards .
Valve T.H. is at .104 with a .177 spring in it . P.W. settings are on chrony sheet . I wanted about 50 fps over what I had with the heavy hammer . Could not find a spring local that would help . Bought this one at OHS. and it would work with the stock hammer and weight . Tried it and it gave me what I wanted . I do need to try a lower P.W .setting with the 51 grain bullets to see if I can get a curve and balance all 4 of my tanks as well .
Not to start a riot here but this summer when I did my accuracy testing . I tried from .248-.252 and 5 bhn-15 bhn . And the .24975 and 12 bhn combo has given me the consistency that is needed . The softer lead would strip back to the base of the bullet and groups were hit and miss . The harder lead is more plastic able than the softer lead and works well for me . At this time I do not have any of the bullets that were shearing back to show you . I have remelted them to shoot again . Marvin

lets see the accuracy

That’s rimfire energy, right? what ft/lbs are you getting?

LBT, you don’t say. I have never owned one of their molds, but I always heard they made good ones. On second thought I did to have one for my Casul.

Someone needs to make a 25 caliber maxball like TC designed for their rilfes, two thin driving bands and 50 to 60 grains would be nice.

How do those things group?

And thanks for the link.

Now that’s cool melloroadman , are going to do some accuracy test, or have you, how is that working out.i see you are running them at 12 bhn. i would of though pure lead would be the way to go.

I want to cast for the condor, but in .22 , i know it would be allot easier in .25 though .

I would like to see how those slugs perform. any pics of bullets ater going down bore?

More info Marvin please. On your settings? Top hat? Etc. Where have you been? Nice to see you posting?

I see the 25 caliber 50 grain molds for 25 ACP but who made the 31 grain mold?
