Having seen those pictures, it’s pretty clear that the work was wantonly sloppy and done quickly. Anybody/manufacturer who does that has no interest in keeping his customers happy. He doesn’t give a shit about them. He’s just interested in the money. Good quality producers have the odd hiccup in amongst all the good work, and they jump on a un-happy customer quick time, either before they complain from reading a post or after they are contacted. Why has JH or his wife not posted? ‘Cos they can’t defend that kind of work. It’s not a small fault by any stretch of the imagination. But they DO contact the Fanboys and get them to post in their defence. Very pathetic, very underhand. And what happened to rhew in this thread that he started?? Maybe the weight of evidence has sent him scuttling back under his JH rock….. 😆
Tofaz I know how that goes. Occasionally I get things that are fixable and I end up dealing with it. Having the item is better than not having the item even if it doesn’t work perfectly. It’s also a never ending circle, who would be able to repair the rifle if that’s the finished product…! It would end up going back to the shop and returning but would the quality change. How would the quality change. Lots of possibilities for delay and frustration on everyone’s part…
I’d really like to see one of the newer production models that has been stripped down for maintenance. There are not a lot of big bore producers and to know that these issues were solved would be a benefit to many.

As I said I was going to get a JH and he never re: my email, so I got a Corsair thank goodness. And I didn’t call Randy when the first one was shooting less than it was supposed to , I was on here asking you folks what was I doing wrong?
Randy saw the post and called me i didn’t call him And he said send that Gun Back it isn’t right. We discussed pressure ect, so when I got it back it was a wild cat…. If JH is who he is supposed to be and he See’s this forum he should contact this buyer and request him send that gun back, it’s in his best interest from Lawsuits and future business. I also am a Ham radio operator and we have these types of conditions in the Radio world too, and if the sales man don’t make it right we have forums for that.. 😀
I’m not jumping on Mr. Haley don’t get me wrong, he might have all good intentions, we haven’t herd his side yet so lets hope he comes here and fills us in.
People on this forum does good work I have the proof in my possession, from Tony to Randy to even resellers every one of you have done me right.

I just want to say, this forum and it’s member are awesome. I find this type of reporting, a great service to me. Ii have been trying to research the big bore market because after I recovering from Christmas ( 5 kids ), I will be serious about one. If I ever received a custom piece like I have seen in this post, I would go ape shit. It’s one thing to make yourself a piece of shit, but to offer it for sale to the public is almost criminal. So thanks to all of u guys that are open about your experiences. It’s a great service u are doing. There are no other forums quite like this one, glad I found it.

Synop, no refund cause i never asked for one. At the time if figured i could clean it up. The gun started leaking and i simply lost interest in fixing/shooting or dealing with its issues. That part is 100% MY FAULT and not JH’s. I never asked for one. Call it pride or call it stupidity, that’s me.
SYNOP/MAW, now, i paid 400 bucks for a non stocked 32 and i betcha it doesn’t have 500 rounds through it. IF JH OR REBA wanna refund me 400 bucks for that gun then, hey i’m cool with that. But i’m not gonna ask them for it. I’m not.
The 457 i’m gonna keep cause i have too much time into it and it shoots and its accurate as can be seen in my videos and pic post.
Yes exactly my point, if Reba would like a plug in this forum then how bout a full refund for that Jack gun that sits in the corner leaks air and is beyond being fixed, does it really matter how long the gun has been in operation when someone with great experience owns it and fixes it, just to shoot it and makes it perform as it should. You know there was a time I bought any car I wanted, cause I was interested in the price tag and I could fix whatever was wrong with it anyway, well when I got the one that had the fuel tank dumped full of sugar, I finally decided no more buying broken down cars. I will never buy a Jack Haley, from what I have seen and read, and anyone who can put a gun together in there sleep must make alot of money doing it. I do still want to try a BBB .58, people buy guns still and like what they get and true, 1 bad apple does not ruin the whole bunch, but common logic says my money and time is just as important as yours.

Those pictures look like someone took tried to destroy a rifle and the inletting is the worst I have ever seen, even by people who don’t charge money for their work and are just experimenting with stock building for the first time…

THE HALEY”S HAVE NO BUSINESS MAKING HPA GUNS.
Terry told me that the Haleys were looking for machinists to make some of their parts at the time…..hopefully they found a good machinist.
I caught flack for exposing the dangerous sears of the 909, too. When they temporarily dis-continued the 909, I was told “I told you so! Look what you went and did!”. I may have helped save someone’s life…..I have no regrets about it.
These guns can BADLY HURT PEOPLE when done wrong, and I’m not talking about hurt feelings here. Get that thru your heads.
Seems human life isn’t as highly valued in society as I thought. Seems a couple of you feel that catering to peoples sensitivities takes a higher priority.

BOLT PROBE THAT WAS GROUND DOWN TO SLIDE OVER HOLD DOWN SCREW IN RECEIVER….aaaaarggghhh!!. BOLT PROBE STILL WENT OVER SCREW HARSHLY. ALSO, THAT TRIGGER IS NOT NICE. IF IT BREAKS, I’M SCREWED. ALSO, BRASS TRANSFER PORT IS DRILLED OFF CENTER:
ANOTHER VIEW OF THE BOLT PROBE and a BRAND NEW O RING WAS BLOWN IN ABOUT 26 SHOTS. While IN THE FUCKING FIELD AND I WAS 2 HOURS AWAY FROM HOME WITH NO SPARE ORING………..aaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrggggghhhhh!!!!:

RJ, i have no problem with you and probably never will. I have no problems with anyone. I am so OVER JH and will continue to OWN BOTH MY JACK HALEYS. My 32 is now for spare parts as the valve body was drilled horribly (you cannot see the underside in the pics i posted) and it leaks air through a screw hole in the valve body. What ever, it wont hold air and it frustrates me when i work on it cause its basically ruined.
Now, back to what i was trying to say, you ignored and your blinded to what is right in front of you. A guy makes a post a couple weeks ago about his air tube and you say, “IT WAS NOT A COMPLETE GUN THOUGH, it WAS JUST AN AIR TUBE”. LOL….OMG. Jack Depends on guys like you to keep him making money.
example: If you go out to buy a “NEW” MERCEDES BENZ, and the salesman starts the car, and the exhaust smokes HEAVILY with black sooty smoke and it is not a DIESEL, Do you say, “i’ll still take it cause it is a BENZ and the bodywork is immaculate?”. Cause that is exactly what your doing.
Again, don’t care whether anyone anymore buys anything that is not machined well. Its really not my concern to know what people do with their money and i dont care. But your statement makes no sense. You are basically agreeing to buy crappy work cause the outside looks good.
I personally don’t care and i don’t wanna see the inside of your HALEY. You know why? Cause if your’s DOES look good, it STILL does not mean someone elses Haley looks good on the inside. So “GOOD” pics of your gun means nothing to the FACT of what i have or some other guy has. It just means…………YOU GOT LUCKY and others did not. REBA AND JACK don’t seem to see that and that sais a lot about them. “SHOW THEM YOUR GUN”….WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
AGAIN, IF SOMEONE JUST POSTED THE OTHER DAY ABOUT A CRAPPY AIR TUBE BEING BADLY MACHINED, WHY THE HELL WOULD I THINK 100% of his work has gotten better. I mean, AN AIR TUBE. DUDE, I COULD MACHINE AN AIR TUBE BETTER THAN THAT WITH A BUTTER KNIFE AND A CORDLESS DRILL MOTOR. C’MON MAN, if your gun looks good and mine looks bad then, thats 50% and that should not fly.

Folks here bitch to the ends of the earth over minor issues with the AF rifles. The shots I have seen are MAJOR issues with these rifles. And it’s labeled as picking on these manufacturers… 😕

well tofas my gun is built a hell of alot better than ur pics my bolt is a flow through bolt my inletting is straight any they went with a new trigger mechanism that is just like the timmney gtr2 setup with adjustable weight and over travel my gun is smooth working holds air and shoots straight and powerful all i can say is if ppl arnt happy with there guns Jack offers either a full refund or to fix the problem and i was told this from day one
