Chronograph differences…?
Wondering if there is a difference between ; Alpha, Beta, Gama…?
Or the red, green, or blue one…??? Lol

Post pic of it all shot up, and why you shot it, all over the net so our friends don’t make the same mistake we made. Isn’t that why we advise people to NOT but the AF/benjamin hand pump and anything made by gamo? …then send it to that bitch at shooting 😉 chrony!
My Shooting Chrony works very well with the lights. Only one error in over 5000 shots. And I think I created the only error by being too far off center.
Before the lights the thing barely worked unless I had lights shining directly on the plastic covers and even then it was hit or miss.
There is no real use shooting the damned thing UNLESS you send the photo to the company that makes the piece of crap with a note that says;
“This is about the only thing this piece of junk is worth using for, target practice! No, i’m not looking for a repair, i’m buying another brand of chronometer that actually works!”
👿 👿 👿 👿
I’m not going to kill mine yet. I still need to get my money’s worth from it. Unfortunately i’ll never get any value from the stupid printer. Might have to see that for a loss to someone with more patience than I. 😆
Welcome to the madhouse RU! It sounds like you fit right in. 😉
Hey before you shoot the old Chrony, set it up right in front of your target board, shoot through your new Pro Chrony, and maybe get results on both ends before you “accidentally” shoot the F1 Chrony.
Could be fun!!! 😈

Damn, you guys are starting to rub off on me. First an SS, then not just 22,,but a 177, now a 25 barrel, hammers, bottles, valve mods, and now I’m starting to lust for a big bore. Damn….
The printed gets it second, the shooting Chrony third ❗
Oh, you may ask what gets it 1st 😕
I’ m relishing the time when I set up my old apple iphone and blast the help out of it. I had apple iCare insurance on it but when it got wet, iCare DIDN’T REALLY CARE ❗
PS My Android HTC smartphone is covered for water damage ❗ So let’s see if apple eventually comes up with DAMAGE CONTROL 🙄
Lurker, I think you should place the chrony downrange and empty several magazines of .223, or .308 into it. Play kick the can so to speak. (Post pics if yo do shoot it up! 😀 )
I really am greatful for my negative experience with the chrony company. That’s what motivated me to buy the ProChrono. I don’t get errors very often; just once in a while, and it allows up to 99 shot strings. The user friendly interface is also just too cool; it’s refreshing after using the beta. 😉
The printer is a PIECE OF SHIT.
It will drop shots here and there, print over itself on occasion and so I find myself writing everything down because it’s such A PIECE OF SHIT.
With the lights the chroy is fine, without them it really didn’t work. The lights are great, until you are not by an outlet…
If you do 100+ long shot strings I highly recommend getting a chrony that hooks up to the computer. Plus it makes it so you don’t have to enter all the information to get a graph or spread data.
Did I mention the Shooting Chrony printer IS A PIECE OF SHIT? 😉
It also starts to label every shot after shot #32 as shot #32. It still displays the speed but the numbering system was created by a dipshit
The Shooting Chrony is cheap, but there is a damn good reason it is cheap.
X2 NUMEROUS NUMEROUS ERRORS ❗ ❗
Even with their LED light bars ❗
Printer is also a PIECE OF SHIT ❗
Mine gave out after the warranty expired so I complained and they gave up a few bucks off a replacement. OK, better than nothing, right ❓ WRONG ❗ Although their websight showed what appears to be an improved device but with same model ❓ , they sent me the same old model ❗ So much for customer relations on the CHEAP ❗ ❗
SO, using my shooting Chrony indoors or out, it still gives spontaneouse ERRORS even with extra shading around the sensors and using their LED light bars.
And, now that I am trying to do a number of string shootings with my new .25, I can probably count on the printer failing within a short time. When it does. it goes in the trash and I will get a ProChrony ❗ Then I will calmly, without un called for anger, enjoy folding the POS shooting Chrony for the last time. OR, should I give it one, or more, well directed blasts from my .25 ❓
That’s what I discovered! I wished I had bought a ProChrono the first time, but that’s not what PA was selling and I wasn’t experienced enough to know any better.
I wouldn’t ask what not to get, rather I would heed the experienced words of those who have been there and run, don’t walk, to purchase a ProChrono Digital Model! 😉 Good Luck!
The difference among the three is this:
The Alpha is the crap model; the Beta is the crappier model; the Gamma is the crappiest model. I had the Beta model, but instead of shooting through it, I shot it as a target as it was…well…the crappier model! Get a Pro Chrono by Competition Electronics. It just works every time and is very reliable.
Not trying to be sarcastic…
Are there any others I should avoid … ??
That was the most entertaining opinion I have ever seen you post Synopsys! I am still laughing! 😆 😆 😆 But what I didn’t get was whether or not you found it to be a piece of shit or not! Perhaps you could elaborate! 😆
I have a green Shooting Chrony, the light system and the printer.

I had bought the light kit for my beta. So light wasn’t why mine threw errors all the time. I was thrilled that the chrony light kit fit my ProChrono perfectly! WooHoo! I haven’t had hardly any issues with error messages with the ProChrono which I think is due to the recessed placement f the ProChrono’s sensors. I placed a piece of clear packing tape over each of the sensors which keep debris out of the sensor wells. The ProChrono records 99 shot strings without any other peripherials. I really do like my ProChrono Digital Model. It works great. Others who have bought one on my recommendation have PM’ed me to say thanks! That’s cool.
What I don’t get is why chrony is cool with some people and FUCK others??? What did I do? Whatever.
