CO2 Tanks Shooting vastly different speeds??
Two co2 tanks. both filled at the same shop. Both have been in the same drawer for days so temperature difference is out. Without changing anything but the tanks , #1 tank shoots 545 fps fairly consistently and the other #2 tank 650 fps fairly consistently. Consistently meaning at least 80 fps faster from #2. Same crony and i switched them about a dozen times but same result each time. I then put about 100 to 150 shots through #2 and it stayed in the 635 to 650 range. Went back to tank #1 and still down in the mid 550’s. Can the pin valve on the older tank be better than the new tank that came with my TSS. Both are 12 ounce. Thanks

You should send the warrantied tank back for service/exchange. Nothing strange about new defective products, happens all the time.
My condors valve broke and I sent it back for repair under warranty and Airforce paid the return postage. Total of 2 weeks from sending to receiving it back.

That would be bad, slow tank is the new one that came with the gun. The fast tank is 6 years older
Maybe Trash or rust in slow tank. When you empty the slow tank you may want to remove the valve and clean it and dump the rust/trash out if any is in it?

07 I’m not trying to flog a dead horse but I guess the only question is the pin valve. I got a tank with the TSS and I bought two tank locally. I then bought a 4th on this forum. I used my co2 adaptor on all four tanks. The used old tank is the one shooting 80 to 100 fps faster. All three new tanks can’t be bad. Is it possible to mod a pin valve in some way to get that kind of power difference.??
