compact stealth
Hi,
Thinking about a more compact Stealth with mini frame and 10″ barrel. Want also a smaller 200 cc tank. Is there a thank on the market that I can use (adapting tread that valve wil fit is no problem – have a lathe). BSA S10 tank ??
Last year I saw pics on the forum of a mini Stealth but can’t find them anymore. Somebody ?

The Weihrauch silencer is one of the best on the market and not so expensive. I only hear the hammer when shooting my 35 fpe Stealth. Even on a 50 fpe Stealth there’s no noise.
Do you think a internal shroud would give the same noise reduction as the HW silencer ? What parts do I need ?

How do you get the rifle so quiet Yoeri? I’m running the weirach silencer and less power but It gives off a fair muffled crack. Saying that It’s nothing compared to the boom when you take the silencer off 😆

About 7 inches long….They make one for threaded barrels and a “push on” type as well for 15 and 16mm barrels. About $66 for the push-on type, less for the threaded.
Hmmm….. interesting. Wonder what kind of trouble that’d bring if I put one on the end of the SS. 8)
Yoeri, I’ve never heard an weirauch silencer, so have no idea how efeective they are. If you look in the shrouds and moderators section you will see how to build an internal shroud.
My idea was to use a 8-10 inch barrel and cut down the frame to that lenght because I always use the Weihrauch silencers on my airguns, but like you said a internal shroud is also an option.

Just a question or two. If your going to use a 8 to 10″ barrel, why not build an internal shroud into the frame? Would be near silent and still compact no?
Yes, it is the 12″ barrel, shortening the frame is too complicated for me. 😉

this is my un-finished compact-stealth proyect.
It is show with the standar bottle for you to see the total lenght of the gun.
Total lenght 60 cm. BSA bottle. Beeman SS-2 . GreenBeam laser. Some bits from Leupys custom shop including Sean valve (great job, by the way). Rohm grip. Streamlight torch (not shown). Xalociador (sound moderator made by Xaloc).
As I said, it is unfinished. I have to find a couple of things like a butt plate that fits this bottle or a weaver mount, but my priorities on airgunning have changed to different proyects. I will finish it some day… I hope.

The springs are some that his holyness (Drum) had made cos he got fed up with me using unsuitable items.

I really like the looks of this. Say, that grip…how’d you fit it? Does it drop right in or is an adapter of any kind required? If Rohm grips fit without too much work that opens some nice posibillities.
