compact stealth
Hi,
Thinking about a more compact Stealth with mini frame and 10″ barrel. Want also a smaller 200 cc tank. Is there a thank on the market that I can use (adapting tread that valve wil fit is no problem – have a lathe). BSA S10 tank ??
Last year I saw pics on the forum of a mini Stealth but can’t find them anymore. Somebody ?

Hey guys do you have the specs. on the valve’s spring? Is it the same spring as the of-the-shelf talon or condor? Or are you guys using something different? I would really appreciate the help ❗ ❗ 🙂 🙂

What people probably mean by compact seems to be using a shorter bottle. These 2 pictures show 100cc bottle and a 100cc regulatored air tube. Both set-ups are good for about 40 legal limit shots. The gun in your pictures seem to be a standard stealth / talon.
Is this the mini-Stealth you are looking for?
Blodnob, what do you mean not doing any helping? you told me i was crap at helping. and ask me not to help anymore. i think blodnob means you’ll need something like this adaptor.

Just made one of the S10 valves by accident 😳 The 18mm talon thread “F,ed” up so i put a S10 thread on it.
I could make an adaptor for it to be able to be used in the talon bottle too.
Might be usfull for your project. If not, no prob’s. Al use it to chuck at Baz for not doing any helpin 😆
Somebody please post pictures of a compact Talon when you can. That is also something i am interested in.
Maybe a talon frame, micrometer tank and a silencer to keep the sound silent so I can plink rats behind houses in the streams in down town Hono.
The problem with the smal tank and adapted valve is solved, thanks Baz.
So my next question is, what veloctity can I get with a 8 to 10″ barrel and modded valve or Blodnob valve in cal .22 ? Shot count doesn’t matter.
Is cal. 20 a better option for a flat trajectory up to 55 yards with enough hitting power ?

Is it a 12 fpe valve or FAC ?
Take you time to find the parts, its for a project but for the moment I don’t have much time to spend on it. Think it’s for after the summer.

I’m still looking for all the parts to go with the valve, but if I can’t find them, I’ll have to make some new bits. But at the moment I’ve got my 4 jaw chuck and the laith making a silencer core with an off-set center.
As soon as I’ve done this I’ll be able to put the 3 jaw chuck back on the machine.

Have a look at this picture and you will see that the bottle on the right is a 200cc BSA super 10 bottle with a valve made specially for it. When I did this modification to shorten my Stelth I did not cut the front of the frame down but instead fitted a barrel off an Air-arms S410 TDR, as this barrel is slightly longer. So I was able to screw an HW100 silencer on to the end of the barrel. This made the gun very short and light. I think I kept the valve out of the bottle as I used the bottle later to modify a Rat- catcher to run on air. If I find the valve you can have it if you want it, as its got the 14 x 1.5 mm thread to fit the bottle.
