Complete Edgun Screw Set?
How about selling a replacement screw set for the matadors, also? Or a list of sizes, at least. I asked Tony a while ago. Would anyone have something like that or have the same interest? It would come in handy!

WoW, an awesome information, i never ever thing of this, i would go to tell them that s/s is a good alternative for all PCP set screws, your post/ infos are really good and all of these brothers should take this in to consideration… please guys check this out, think and make your decisions… :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono:
#The most important one is shear strength. In most of the applications they will do the job fine but the six cap screws that hold the end plugs in your air cylinder are under some extreme shear loads.. Do not use S/S here! those cap screw need to be 12.1 grade screws.
# s/s and Alloy hate each other, the two metals together cause electrolysis and premature corrosion of the alloy. You will find a s/s will seize up in alloy very quickly and it will turn any bare it touches into white power aluminium oxide.
This is what alloy looks like under a microscope after only a few months of being in contact with stainless steel:
There is more than one reason not to use stainless caps screws in your gun… Take this from someone from the aircraft industry where mixing s/s and alloy is a big no no..

Watch out guys. I wouldn’t put in any stainless screws in my guns .stainless has to much nickel in it they are too soft. If you take them out a few times they will strip and then you will have a nightmare. :Fishing Hole:

Thanks Wingman for the additional info on SS screws. I had no idea. Will swap those screws that enter alloy (tube and reg screws) out ASAP.
