Complete Edgun Screw Set?
How about selling a replacement screw set for the matadors, also? Or a list of sizes, at least. I asked Tony a while ago. Would anyone have something like that or have the same interest? It would come in handy!

Thanks Doug!!!
You are a gentleman. I will order enough to share. Yes, you are on my list.
John.
One more bolt for the trigger guard, the one that holds the action to the stock. what size?
Thanks

I just pulled my .22 R3M apart enough to get those two out and:
The rear end cap screws are, Flathead M3 x 6mm long
The trigger guard screw is a, Socket head M5 x 22.25 mm This screw is likely and looks like a M5 x 25mm that has been trimmed to fit properly on my R3M, …….I have seen a thread where this screw if too long can jam against the bottom out and then push the air tube up into the barrel. !!!
Doug…
I am curious as to the hardness of the stainless Steel screws compared to the 12.9 black oxide one in the picture. I’m going to go try to dig out this information.
Here is all I needed to read to decide stainless was not for me. I would be ok using it if I really wanted to but anti-seize might be more important than ever…
there are 2 more screws (very small) for the rear end cap. They are counter sink, What size are they?

I would get them in SS and not black steel. Less chance for corrosion, getting stuck and they look better.. But I am sure what you ordered will work…
I no longer have my order list but you should be able to get all the info you need from the first photo on this thread….
Please stop teasing us. :fishing: . Can you please show your order list? I need to order those screws too.
If you go to BoltDepot (http://www.boltdepot.com/Metric_socket_products.aspx) you can order all of the screws for a Matador for under $3.00 plus shipping.
Awesome you guys! Thanks for the good info! I haven’t been able to sign on sooner to say thanks, but there it is!
The Doc (Dr. KrillE) has replaced almost every screw in and on his R3 with higher grade screws. All the screws are standard metric sizes either with a regular or countersink hex head. The only thing you need to know is the diam (M3/M5/M6), the length and whether it´s a countersunk or “regular” and that´s it.
The ‘collars’ are just the way that manufacturer makes the screw. Usually anything over 1″ to 1.5″ depending on the diameter will not have threads all the way up the bolt. 😉
A good source in the USA for these screws might be McMaster-Carr.
Look at the bottom of this page. You’ll find Stainless metric screws. http://www.mcmaster.com/#socket-head-cap-screws/=noxc3q
How is it coming? I was thinking about swapping out my Matador screws with SS screws but was waiting to get sizes / dimensions from you. Any chance you will have something to share?
I thought you already got the answer in the above post with pics. Those bags state the sizes on the label. More sizes you need ?? I can do that – as you can see i´m fast with these kinda things … 😀
Forgive me. What you are seeing is my ignorance of how screws are measured and ordered. I did look at those pictures and used that info to search web pages. After searching it appeared to me that there was a need for additional info. For example some of the screws have collars and there was no measurement for that part of the screw. Perhaps I should not mess with it but the thought of replacing existing screws with high quality SS screws is appealing. Anyway, anything you can share to help me understand is appreciated. Thank you for your efforts.

1 more update, the two screws that hold the front of the trigger assy. are Flathead M4 x 10mm and my tail cap is M3x6mm so I am not sure where the M3x8mm’s go ?? I don’t doubt they could be somewhere but not in my typical tear down for a Reg. change so not common in and out on my gun ??
