Condor SS with E teC
Guys,
Just got my E teC mounted on the 900cc tank and put all together on the Condor SS of mine… Daaaayuuummmm!!! This thing is going to be awesome to say the least…
I cut the neck of the new larger tank 5 degree’s from its square. This to be able to roll cant and cast to the Condor for a better fit… Right now you will see I have the military peep sights I have made to fit… I love the peeps… Its not like a great scope to ID things you may or maynot want to squeeze a round off at… But. they are so fun to shoot…
Anyway, I failed to get a PIC of the OEM tank beside the new 900cc I now have but I will get that tomorrow when I have more time. Heck it got dark on me anyway and it was hard to get the PIC’s as it was…
Anyway, here are a few of the setup with all my blacksmithed parts I made and installed on this rifle with the exception of the EteC… My stuff is no where the quality of the EteC, but its my on fault as I use a hammer and anvil to pound all this stuff out and hand file to fit LOL… Don’t laugh it does work… Some of the stuff I did take AF goodies that was not going to work for me at all, took parts off that I could use and then fab up other stuff to make fit and work out…
This next one shows the cast a little, best I could get in the dark anyway… I may have to roll the tank a little more, just not sure as this was a fast fit up for now…
The above shows the cover cap for the quick fill I found to fit nicely, got to love junk draws LOL… Bottom is off and ready to fill…
Last one for now guys… Hate that I forgot to get one of the OEM tank beside this bigger one… I may just go back into the dark and see if I can get one for you guys to compair, so you can see how much bigger it is…
Many thanks to Jim, for the EteC. It got me the space to allow the larger tank that has the neck wider and was going to need some clearance with something to clear the bottom and top side of the frame at the back where it screws up to the breech end… This was perfect…

The tank is a little shorter, I have it all taped up right now and its between spray coats of the rubber stuff I am spraying on the tank… So I will have to get you guys the measurements tomorrow when I finish the tank… The OEM AF tanks are basically just short of 12″
I bought this from a guy on the old TAG web sight. He had bought several for a group buy… He was from Calif. I think, but I bet he is around here too…
The LOP on this is good. The reg. I want to do will be no longer than the EteC, with most of this assembly going down inside the tank it self…

Yeah I forgot to ask how is the length of pull? Is it about the same? It also looks like the reg. would make the LOP too long.
Thanks for posting rowdy! It looks like it’s a lot fatter diameter, but a little bit (1″ maybe) shorter. Is this right? Would you measure the two tanks from tip to tail? Only the tank though. Where did you get it? Thanks.
That tank is big but still looks comfortable. I bet you will get 100 shots with the 15.8 going in the high 800s if you put a reg. on the tank. If I had that big of a tank I would not be able to hold back 😀 and would set mine up for nothing but but power, and longrange shooting and hunting.
Here is a few PIC’s of the regulator I think would be a highly desirable unit to use to make this a very solid setup. Most likely expensive by the time its all done and said, but what a setup…
The glass top of my desh here kind of screws with the camera LOL… But you guys can see the size of this reg. is good and I can tell you the quality of this reg. is even better… This would be easy to get Jim to work this into the EteC of his…

I have a regulator from my Rapid MKII that I just might try and get things setup to use it inline with this EteC… What do you guys think about using a regulator on a Condor??? I have used this reg. on my MKII and had it setup to 925 fps shots easy enough… This reg. is fully adjustable…
I need to have a visit with Jim about this possibility to marry one of his EteC adapters to this little regulator I have… The setup I am running right now on the Condor SS never has been a big waste of air volume per/shot with the OEM tank… I could get 100 rounds easy enough with it from a 2600psi fill…
I would like to fill to 3000K without the shot curve being such a problem…

It really is quite a bit bigger tank… It feels good to shoulder now also with the cast and cant… I am going to love this setup…I am going to try and get the new tank sprayed today with this rubber coating… It helps keep my pellet holder in place better, as well as when I set the rifle on its butt, it won’t be so easy to slip and hit the ground…
Dude I have no idea LOL, I just got the thing fitted up!!! With a 2500 psi fill on the OEM tank, I could shoot my 50 round pellet holder I made twice with how I have the rifle tuned right now with an average of 850 fps with 15.8 JSB’s…
I look forward to messing around with this larger tank, just to see what I may change…

With the regulator instaled,will the pressure gauge show the tank pressure or the regulated pressure in the ETaC chamber?
